“What an amazing company, the location for a start is stunning but once inside the furniture will blow your mind! Beautifully made, gorgeous fabrics I could have come away with more than one sofa!”

The selection is amazing, you don’t get this style in many places (too amazing I didn’t want to leave), the staff were helpful and advised us regarding which fabrics would be best suited to young children. “After placing an order, via telephone, with the lovely Georgina, I was treated to a great customer from start to aftercare. I bought two sofas and a shearling rug, and had to put trust in a company that I’d been following, for a number of months, on social media. I was not disappointed. The quality of all the products, is outstanding. I have a lot of lovely comments from my visitors. The people that work there were also very helpful. George was great, and Sophie, in the warehouse, was a star. They both did exactly what they said they would do. Sophie was instrumental in keeping me up to date with my delivery. She even worked out some dates which really suited me. Sophie also helped with an item that was despatched to me in error. She gave me some suitable options, which were dealt with ease and efficiency. My experience was so refreshing, especially in this day and age, where you can’t always get to speak to a human being, without a load of hassle. The Vintage Sofa Company are amazing. “I ordered the sofas over the phone based on the reviews and how amazing they looked. Also great value for money half the price I was going to pay a national chain who had let me down with my order. When they arrived I couldn't be happier, quality was excellent and just as good as pictures. I also had to wait a relatively short time for delivery so overall a smooth transaction and friendly service. Would definitely recommend the company to friends and family.”

“I traveled far and wide around lots of shops looking for the right seat and footstool. I came across vintage sofa company and looked into their reviews and asked them for advise. I was very sceptical about ordering before sitting on and seeing the items. Hi were I bit the bullet and ordered and I am so so glad I did. My Howard range snuggle chair and footstool blows any thing else I have seen and sat on out the window. Delivery was quick and simple cost for items was well worth what I received and the customer service is amazing. I am now saving for a sofa which I didn’t plan on changing and now won’t go anywhere else. Thankyou for all your help xx”

“Absolutely love our sofas (Howard 3 seaters in colour rust). Really friendly and helpful customer service, super fast delivery. The delivery drivers even brought everything into the room for us! Definitely recommend. We’ve had them for a year now, also have 2 cats & dog who sit on them daily & they still look brand new. Comfiest sofas I’ve ever had. Thank you Vintage Sofa we love them!”

“Ordered the sofas in late October, having been told online that the delivery eta was 4 weeks. Finally got a delivery date of 16/12. Sold my old sofa in preparation for delivery at 2:30 on 16/12, I was informed that the delivery wouldn’t take place and that the earliest delivery would be Thursday 22nd December (not ideal). Sofas arrived with damage to the base cloth of one of them and the other had clearly been quality inspected and x marks in blue biro to say where damage/marks had occurred. One side of the sofa is a different shape to the other Contacted vintage sofa company and they are sending someone out to repair base fabric and check the other issues. Just not what I expected when I spent just under £5k on sofas. So very disappointed”

Good morning Tanya, Thank you for taking the time to do a review as we are keen to continue to improve wherever possible. Thank you for purchasing directly on our website on the 30th of October, the website states 6-8 weeks for a bespke hand made analine Oskar suite and 4-6 weeks as a fast track option. So really pleased that we did manage to deliver within these guidelines on the 22nd December. We are so sorry that your first delivery attempt was cancelled last minute and this was so upsetting - the week before Christmas was so busy and we tried to get the next nearest delivery slot (thankfully we managed to deliver the suite before Christmas) on the 22nd December. I'm so sorry that the black dust sheet lining on the base of the sofa was pierced during the delivery, the independent upholsterer will be able to replace this easily when they visit. The independent upholster will also look at your concerns regards the marks that you have you forwarded, the leather that you selected is a natural full grain aniline leather so has natural marks in the leather and not a corrective grain - the expert will be able to advise very promptly and we will endeavour to rectify any issues that may come to light. Just to assure you that none of our manufacturers use pen (to mark the sofas) as quality control. If you would like us to call and discuss further once the upholsterer has visited and made their report as we aim to close after care cases as soon as we possibly can.

“We traveled from York, I was hoping to convince my husband to buy two leather sofas rather than velvet. We were like kids in a sweet shop! The Mill is dressed beautifully, helping you imagine how the pieces will look in your own home. Excellent marketing. Thankfully Katy told him to try the Charles sofa with the sheepskin. Not only did we buy the two sofas & sheepskin there & then but we called the next day and ordered a third sofa for the snug. The team were fantastic, very friendly & helpful making the whole experience a happy memorable one. Thank you all 😍”

“What an amazing place! From the building it’s breathtaking, to the furniture inside, it’s so hard to choose because everything is just amazing! Really good quality furniture, affordable prices very quick turn around some of our things where in stock but we decided not to take until we bought our house then delivery was fast. I can’t recommend this family run business enough, I think they are so lovely! The coffee and cake on arrival made our shopping morning even more special!”

“It is quite a challenge these days to find a honest, great quality, reasonably priced company with great customer service. I strongly believe Vintage Sofa ticks all these boxes and more. I usually like to see the real product before I buy, however this time it was different. After reading all the informations and watching videos about the different pieces of the furniture they sell and the journey of the owners to the company vintage sofa is today. I decided to give it a try and order online without the physical viewing. I can say now it was a great decision. We purchased Oscar in leather, and that really seem to be a piece of art worth the investment. The furniture is really beautiful and comfortable- it seems to be very well made. The customer service was great, every person I talked to was very helpful and patient with explaining the different fabric options etc. I feel we will come back for more.”
