New flagship model Viessmann 222 boiler installed in August 2023. Nov 2023 it developed a fault and required the installer to replace the pump. Apr 2024 another fault left with no hot water or heating. Although connected to the internet from the point of install, it seems there's a totally separate process required to get the "warranty". So instead we have the standard manufacturers warranty... But this is where it's extraordinary - that warranty they claim is from the point which the merchant first had it in stock !!! Not when we bought it, or installed it !! And guess what, that stock date was just outside 2 years !! So we have no warranty at all, for a boiler that's less than 8 months old. Welcome to Viessmann. Appallingly unreliable products. Appalling service. You simply couldn't make it up.

We purchased a Viessmann 100-W heat pump because the company had a good reputation for service. So far we have been sorely disappointed. The unit was installed months ago, by a partner company called Energy Solutions here in Prague. We puchased the most expensive warrant for 10 years. A technician was supposed to contact us to explain how the unit works and do some fine tunning. It never happened. Two weekends ago, the unit stopped producing hot water. With no indication of a malfunction. We spent a weekend with cold water. On Monday, a nice person from Viessmann came. It was the technician who supposed to the final installation months ago. So he did that and tried to fix the problem even if he was not from the same part of the company. After four hours the machine was working again but he did not tell us what was wrong. The following Friday, the machine failed again. We call the same person, but he was on vaccation, and said that we should call the help line. We called Friday evening. We called Saturday Morning We called Saturday Lunch We called Sunday Morning We called Sunday Evening We called Monday Morning No one answered. We called the general number, the person there said to e-mail. We emailed. We called again, the lady said we will call you back and solve it today. Nothing. We received an email to schedule an appointment four days later. We called again, they said email. We called again, they said we were about to call you. Which was patently false as were calling 1 minute after closing time. They said we will solve it soon. As I write still no hot water. I can understand that sometimes a company has trouble. But I dislike communication that is not honest with the customer. I will post this widely and update as things progress.

Viessmann Vitodens 050 installed September 2020. To date I have replaced the expansion vessel and the pump at my own expense. The heat exchanger has now failed. I would reccomend avoiding these boilers at all costs. Very poor build quality and not fit for purpose.

Just don't. Our 2.5-year-old broke down with a lockout issue and two plumbers including British Gas were unable to fix it because the parts must be on special order with 10 days delivery time. Their own support offered an appointment in weeks time. It is not acceptable with products that people rely on, during the cold months.

Boiler 2020 installed on a government grant due to my disabilities and the pump has now gone,I have no money to repair this and I’m classed as a vulnerable person so sat here in the freezing cold ,please phone me 07757714356 as I’m desperate!

Had a Veissmann boiler fitted 9 years ago by one of their approved installers. Nothing but problems since … costing several hundred pounds per call out, usually annually. They will diagnose and fix some things but not the peripherals (e.g flue, cellar pump). Never got to the bottom of the problem and now considering replacing the boiler to get some peace. While the Viessmann engineer is fab, I wouldn’t touch their product again or recommend it to anyone.

Absolutely atrocious customer service. I am a contractor currently on hold for over an hour. The last time I called the operator was an absolute ass. This company should be ashamed of their customer service, especially regarding contractors they do regular business with. It’s embarrassing honestly.

The boiler is far too complicated, the wireless doesn't work well, the central heating takes too long to heat up , my 12 year old Vaillant gave better heat and far quicker . Really annoyed that I changed over .

A terrible fraud company who forces customers into saying something to cancel the warranties and bully them into giving information customers don't know. Viessmann UK is complete fraud and con and think carefully before buying this product. I am now in the process of taking them up on the consumer law but it is complete waste of time to have to deal with these complete uneducated morons there, specially an agent called Amanda or something is at the front line of campaign to strip customers of the 10 year warranties that is promised them at the time of purchase. Be Very carful before you buy Viessmann UK

This system was installed 18 months ago and has packed up. Little to no support from manufacturers, an attempt to charge me £350 to repair without even knowing what the fault or issue is. Would avoid and opt for a more reputable brand!

I have a 4 year old boiler, having an F2 code issue an engineer was sent out. However the following day I realised the problem has not been solved once I went into the shower. Immediately calling Viessmann again you are not interested saying its up to me to have it repaired. I requested a manager and was told to email "service support" having done so immediately they are still dragging their feet taking initially 24hrs to reply and as of today 26/06/2023 48hrs to reply. So they are not bothered I have no hot water to wash. Disgusting "service support"! Also their email is sent out with no persons name on it. The men who installed my boiler caused a great deal of damage looking for pipes and left all the damage unrepaired when they left. The manager of the company promised to sort it out and then weeks later denied saying it. I have had to pay to have the hole in the wall and the damage caused in the bedroom, sorted out

There was a leak in the factory fitted section of the boiler. My installer needed to turn the washer around to make it water-tight. So much for factory QC. Not a good start to my Viessmann experience.

Our boiler is less than 3 years old and we have no hot water or heating. After 25 minutes I was told that we were a priority but we would get a text for an engineer to arrive in the next ‘few days’. My old Worcester broke after 14 years. I would never buy with this company again.

Appalling customer service! Impossible to get through to Veissmann UK customer services on the phone to book an engineer to attend, filled in the call back form on the company website, still waiting 2 months later. Emailed to ask why we have been forgotten about and got a reply basically saying we are too busy, you'll just have to wait. When we did manage to speak to someone last year (Jan 2022), stroppy agent refused to book a service call and told us they would call back in "a few months". They never did. DONT BUY UNLESS YOU WANT TO WAIT WEEKS TO GET AN ENGINEER TO VISIT!!!

Hi I had a new boiler installed last year, after my plumber recommended viessmann. I would have liked to extend the warranty but I missed the 30 day deadline by one day and have tried to contact your customers services but had no reply I spoke to my plumber and he contracted the sales rep but still no contact I also filled in a form as the rep suggested and posted it but still no reply. I know it is my fault that I didn’t take out the warranty in the time allotted but surely one day shouldn’t make a difference if your company stands by the the quality and reliability of the products you sell. I would at least like a reply and explanation as to why an extended warranty cannot now be purchased. Regards Andrew Gray
