“The videos did not work as they were set out to, every time I contacted support they gave me instructions to do which either made no difference or the program would not permit me to do. Waste of time and money”

“The program is still a bit clunky and not (in my opinion) navigated easily for first time users. However, the most impressive thing to me - and I do mean IMPRESSIVE - is your staff. Johnny, Michael, and especially Barry, have been remarkably patient and helpful to me. The "instant answers" button on the Sparkle Help page (http://help.sparkol.com/support/home) doesn't necessarily provide "instant answers". I was on a tight deadline and needed to speak with a human being to help me solve issues with the program and I was forced to wait until at least the next day for a response that wasn't always what I needed. The community blog / forum is good, but is hit or miss. People using this tool professionally, need "instant answers" - not answers that may or may not help, one to two days later. Other than that, I like the program, I would like to see more editing tools (especially with the voice over feature) and a way to create my own backgrounds instead of just working with the ones provided.”

“I really like the program, however it's a tad expensive for me. A $30 monthly feed it's too much; a few weeks ago I got an email that offered me an annual subscription for $96 dollars per month, but sadly I missed it. Also, after the last update I can't change the language to Spanish.”

Hi Santiago, Many thanks for your review. If you keep an eye on your inbox I'm sure that you'll see another before long - one of the benefits of having a Sparkol subscription! The Spanish version was a trial and we will likely be rolling out a full version very soon. If you want to continue with the Spanish version in the interim then you can re-install the previous version. If you need help please raise a ticket from you account page.

“i can't upload a video into my project unlike Explaindio video maker, they did add option to upload video into videoscribe project. please add this option, this very important for me for my youtube videos.”

“(1) There should be tutorials on drawing and uploading one's own graphics in a simple and quick way. I still do not know the simplest and easiest way to draw something and have it easy to download to VideoScribe in 2-3 steps. (2) There should be a way to draw direct into the whiteboard. (3) There should be a way to take 3-5 svgs and save and capture them into one picture so that such can be pasted elsewhere rather than having to paste the same 3-5 images that are recurring. (4) Number of svg pictures available - way too low.”

“I do a large amount of training and writing my own training courses, primarily on how to interpret night dreams (unusual eh?) and I have found the simplicity of using VideoScribe to produced animated short videos to emphasise a point or two has become invaluable. It's a very easy user interface and the addition of music, high quality clip art/images and quality music tracks is SUCH a bonus. On the only occasion where I have contacted Support they have been brilliant too. Love it - thank you!”
