They do not follow instruction from owners I could have lost my dog. I told them not to feed her that she would choke, subsequently they fed her fine pieces of chicken. Cost me an extra £600in vet fees on top of the night care with you of £1200. She was however looked after thru the night, not sure that all given treatment was necessary.

Treatment of my little dog was excellent. He was thoroughly examined and given an injection. The cost however was exorbitant (£165). Very few people can afford this. Seems immoral to me that people whose pets are suffering can’t go there for treatment unless they can afford £165 consultation fee.

The thing that upset me is that when I pick him up in the morning is that he was still covered in his own pess

The vet was very kind, calm and sympathetic. It was a very distressing time, and I felt that waiting for the invoice immediately after whilst they were trying to add everything on wasn't very pleasant. I had to wait there around 15 minutes before I was told they would sort it and call me later.

It was all ok however the vet who saw seemed very unhappy and was openly agitated with the lovely receptionist due to the lack of information sent by pets at home. When you go with a loved dog whom we knew would not be coming home it seemed abit uncaring.

I was happy my kitty was able to be seen by a vet and given some treatment as at the time myself and partner were very worried. However I was not happy that the vet seemed to want to rush us out, wrote the notes of what happened on Baloo's file wrong and he seemed really heavy handed when handling Baloo. He didn't speak to Baloo or try to communicate with us much at all, which we aren't used too with his normal vet. Other than that I was relatively happy with the process.

They helped my cat for that I'm greatful but the cost of out of hours treatment is absolutely disgraceful 150 just to go through the door and that's before any treatment or medicine. Supposed to be an organisation to help animals however seem to be taking advantage of the money making

The vet was very good with my cats care and I was happy with how she dealt with him but I felt the receptionist wasn’t very friendly and her attitude offended me I understand they have a job to do but when your cat gets hit by a car late at night your thoughts are just to get him seen and I understand that sort of service doesn’t come for free but trying to pay £350 pounds at 2am isn’t ideal. There was never a doubt I wouldn’t settle my bill even if it was the next day. But her overall attitude wasn’t great I will be thinking twice to use haygate out of hours in the future.

The vet told me my cat was very ill and may need to be put down. When I visited my regular vets the following morning I was told this was NOT the case. Imagine my despair. Plus I keep getting texts saying “anything apologies for your loss” when my cat is very much alive

Received medication for my dog....Even though the vet was unable to give a diagnosis. When I went for a follow up check to my own vet. It was diagnosed that my dog may have been stung. Vets now charged me £277 on a Saturday afternoon...my vet charged £10. I would prefer not to use vets now again but unfortunately I can't dictate when my dog may be I'll.

Quick response to my call, open 24/7 and very friendly staff. No option to say what made me unhappy? - not a very balanced survey!

The vet was lovely when my pet died but the receptionist wasn’t very welcoming ..my pet was dying and I needed urgent assistance and she kept asking for my paperwork ... extremely upsetting

I would if preferred someone a bit older or someone with a bit more experience. She went straight to me not being able to do anything for Angel just to put her to sleep. I would if like it to have been explained to be better of the other opinions. I know she was hurt but she wasn’t in pain she was still content. Just wish I had waited a little while before taking her to the vets. I appreciate the card and seeds of forget me nots

There are good points & bad points. Firstly the cost to be seen by vets now is very expensive & only one vet at the practice which means if more than one emergency comes in one animal is potentially at risk. We arrived with my dog before another person arrived with his dog but they were seen before us & my dog wasnt even checked over quickly to rule out the likes of bloat which needs immediate vet attention so i was not happy about that. But once the vet did see us she was nice & helpful & gave us the treatment needed to care for my dog while he was unwell.
