Spent £250 on parts, first no instructions with the parts then brackets were missing. I phoned and got told it would take 4 working days to receive missing parts! Terrible service. I wouldnt use again. After having to complain they agreed to send missing parts quicker.

Hi Mandy, Sorry for the inconvenience caused with your order, you were advised that our standard small parcel courier is MyHermes who can take up to 4 working days to deliver goods but as you needed urgently we sent them via our next day courier, this was not a problem and we were happy to help and assumed you were happy with this solution, we apologise if this wasn't the case.

Box open at one end when delivered and bolts missing, kit is not bolt on with no drilling as described. Service from tele sales lady good but after service very poor. Had to get a professional fitting service fo supply missing parts and carry out installation.

Hi Michael, Apologies if the parcel arrived damaged, we sent our replacement parts ASAP so you could get your bars fitted. As we sell hundreds of this type of bar for your van we are unsure why you had to drill your van, all our bars require NO DRILLING and fix to existing fixing points on your van, we provide PDF guides and a video on our website which shows you how and where to fit the bars and most customers have no problems fitting them themselves, I am sorry this wasn't the case with you. we ordered citroen relay curtain kits......you sent us fiat ducato...they dont fit. and charged us £20 post. RUBBISH........TOTAL RUBBISH

Hi Tim, In actual fact a Citroen Relay and Fiat Ducato is the same van other than the front grill and badge, so the curtains should fit your vehicle, however feel free to get in touch to resolve this, not sure why you were charged £20 postage unless you were non mainland UK but get in touch and we will assist you. The order took 3 months to deliver, the quality of the products when the order was eventually completed was appalling. I'll not be pimping my van with them.

Hi Michael, I appreciate you were waiting a long time for your products, however when you ordered these they were purchased on 'Backordered' which means they are out of stock, you then would have received a phone call asking if you wanted a refund or if you were happy to wait the time until they are back in stock, which you were. I appreciate that 3 months is a long time and i do apologise but we had a few set backs with the delivery of these unfortunately. You would have been made aware of any delays and offered a refund at every point in case you were not happy to wait the length of time. If you were not happy with the product you are of course more than welcome to send it back to us for a full refund. I'm sorry you are unhappy with the product. Kindest regards Vanpimps.

my initial comments about my purchased product "van curtain" was met with what could only be described as child like excuses in that the state of the packaging was blamed on the delivery company.. The delivery company did not package the curtain in a poorly taped oversized box , namely six foot tall and 18 inches wide. Ridiculous by any standard. A small footnote, packaging tape should be stuck to both edges of the cardboard. What arrived looked like a nursery school project. The lack of pre drilled holes in the top rail was blamed on your supplier. Was told to tap the rail into place with a mallet because it did not fit properly, fair enough if tapping was all that was required but had to completely reshape the bottom rail. Also told it was supposed to be a snug fitted curtain. Snug does not explain having a 4 inch gap between the bottom of the curtain and the bottom rail. The strain on the seams. is frightening. So much so that I dare not fully close the curtain. Would have returned instantly but feared no response and losing my money from a company that has no pride in their products or packaging. Poor,poor,poor. That said, it did arrive on time. WOW. Little recompense thou. Needless to say I will not be using you again or recommending you to anybody. Your loss as I am completely refurbishing my van out and will be using a more reputable company

Hi Tony, Thanks for your review. We take all feedback on board. I'm sorry that you were not happy with how your product or how it was packed, however we pack all of these products in larger boxes as its the only box we have that the rails will fit in. The box would have left our warehouse in perfect condition as we take pride in how we pack our products trying to prevent damage upon delivery, if the box came to you not looking its best that of course would be because its is packed onto the back of a lorries along with other boxes and sometimes unfortunately the boxes do get damaged. The bottom rail would have been curved to the van however not all contours of van are the same so a little adjustments do need to be made. The curtains are a very snug fit, they are supposed to fit tight, i appreciate some curtains are made smaller and if we are made aware of this we swap the curtain for you. Of course if your are not happy with the product you are more than welcome to send it back to us for a full refund. Please accept my upmost apology. Product was not good quality,(side bars and cross bars) one roof bar was scratched, poor fittings, no instructions. No response to emails. Rubbish.

Hi Mark Many thanks for your review, after looking into this matter further I can confirm that my colleague did respond to your email explaining that we didn't have any instructions for the wing bars at that point, however the following day she did email several pictures to you of the wing bars and how they should be assembled. As you did not reply we assumed you had received the emails and were able to fit the wing bars. Also in the email that was received you did not mention that you had any damage to your roof bars, if you had of course we would have been more than happy to rectify this for you. Items were delivered quickly. Step covers are not as described or pictured, roof bars do not fit properly, instructions were as good as useless and do not even look the same as the bars in the box, the quality of the plastic parts supplied with the roof bars was terrible bits of excess plastic had to be removed, overall really dissappointed!

Hi David, Many thanks for your review. Of course we take feedback on board- I believe you were communicating with one of the ladies in the office with regards to these issues at which she was trying to help and did advise that if you were not happy with the products you could send them back to us for a full refund, within the space of a few hours you had sorted the roof rails yourself and fitted them and told us you didn't want to send the step plates back. Quick and efficient ordering and delivery. Please note I did check item apon delivery, no obvious signs of faults or damage I have said 1 star, the reason is for the quality of the spolier, having spent £180 having the spoiler painted and fitted professional, only for 4 days later for the spoiler to form a crack down the middle! The garage has assured me it is the quality of the product as aposed to the finishing and fitting. Would not recommend this product. Van in question is a vauxhall vivaro.

Hi Anthony, sorry you are not happy with the rear spoilers you purchased from us and they have developed a crack. We have discussed with our suppliers about this and spent a lot of time looking into your issue and the only thing that we can think is that either there was a problem with fitting it or the rear door had been slammed shut causing it to crack as it is only on one spoiler. It's human nature that your garage will pass the blame to the product but we sell hundreds of these spoilers, have them fitted to one of our demo vans (fitted for 18 months now) and have never had this issue before. The item as you admitted was received by you intact and even after spraying wasn't damaged so it can only really be slamming the door shut that has caused this crack. We are still working to resolve this issue for you as best we can and would've appreciated the chance to do this before receiving this negative review. We will be in touch later today with an update. I purchased some door sills for my van. After taking payment, I recirved a phone call to say they weren't in stock, I waited near 2 weeks for the item, which was my choice. When they did finally arrive, they were not as shown in the image on the website & the adhesive provided did nothing to attach them. (Yes the surface was clean & dry). I contacted the company to discuss a refund or possibly some credit. To date I have still received no reply to my complaint so am now £60 down with a product that isn't up to standard & a company that aren't replying. Avoid.

Order turned up roof bars and side stepsvno fitting brackets in box even tho it said it had been checked before dispatch.had to wait for brackets when they turned up was missing parts.went to fitcroof hhars and brackets hhroke due to flimsy design can't get spares won't be using this site again.

Hi Jason, I was the person you spoke to. You rang up with missing brackets and i sent them out next day (which i offered my upmost apology for this). you then rang and said you had parts missing to which i asked for photos of the ones you had so i could send the ones missing, you told me you had no internet access to send the pictures. I offered and tried to help you however you left a negative review and didn't give me the chance to.

Ordered some roof bars took the money sent a text saying been dispatched to have a phone call later that day too say the item is not in stock and will take 3 weeks! Not very good

Vanpimps customer care is non existent and although they were given opportunity to make amends before I wrote this review, they failed to ring back when they promised at least twice. I ordered a NSF window which was paid for straight away, but they rang to say it wasn't available as the glass was still abroad!! I reluctantly agreed to wait for the order and it finally came almost 2 weeks later. However they sent the OSF glass in error and categorically would not send the NSF until they had the OSF wrong window back, and promised to send the correct one out on receipt of the incorrect one. It's a good job I rung them on the Wednesday when it hadn't arrived as promised as they had received it back the day before and not sent out the replacement. All in all it took 3 weeks, lots of phone calls and unnecessary aggravation to receive my order. Not a happy customer ?????

Hi Carole, With regards to your recent review i would just like to take the time to apologise for the inconvenience that was caused to you. I understand that when you placed the order with us, you had a phone call to advise that the product was out of stock and was given the choice weather to have your order refunded or put on to back order which you chose to place it on back order. The date you were given was in fact an ETA, we do not give out specific dates of the goods coming in as you can appreciate that with it coming from over seas there is a risk that it will not be delivered on that specific date. This is the reason we do not give specific dates out, we would rather get the goods in and then call you to advise a delivery date. Once the stock had arrived with us you were sent out a piece of glass that was wrong, this was a mistake on our part as the glass had been put away on the wrong shelves by the warehouse so was picked wrong. All i can do is apologise for this as we are now in our busiest time of the year and mistakes will happen, it is just unfortunate that this had happened to you. Our policy for returns are clearly stated in our terms and conditions, so we would have to arrange the uplift and get the wrong piece of glass back before we would ship the right piece of glass back out to you, again once the item returned was back it is our priority to get the right product back out to you, and again this had not happened and for this i do apologise. I am sorry that you feel like you have had a bad experience with our company and that our customer service was not up to your standard, but i also understand that you had spoken to Darren in the sales office who tried to put this right for you as speedily as he could and as helpfully as he could. The rack turned up ok Firstly no instructions, ok its not very complicated but would have saved some time working it out Secondly you used hex bits for the front and torx for the rear, why? Its a PITA as I have to go and buy torx bits now to fit Lastly, the rear hole cut on one of the rails is in the wrong place and so the torx bolt wont fit through (the lip catches and wont go through despite wiggling) Feels like a cheap product with poor design

I'm really not one to complain but I ordered the VW Amarok Black Aluminum Roof Rail and Crossbar Set. The quality is simply shocking as the two profiles of the bars differ along their length. Further, one of the front cast aluminum components is loose and just comes away from the rail (it basically dropped off!) and one of the fixing hole's has not been drilled correctly such that the supplied fixing bolt will not pass through the aperture. To suggest 'Vanpimps' pride themselves on their attention to detail leaves something to be desired at best. I have emailed Vanpimps but I have not had the courtesy of a response as yet.

The instructions were just pictures and not very good ones at that. The bar wings are not wide enough to fit the vehicle and customer service said they were the correct ones and that they moved but didn't give me any idea on how to move them once they had clicked into the end plastic pieces. I have tried all sorts of things and now damaged the plastic end caps. So my money is completely wasted. Should have known better and bought Thule. The roof bars rear seals are too small leaving a considerable gap between the vehicle roof track and the fitting. A waste of money - don't buy this product.

Hi Paul, We are sorry to hear that you are not happy with the product you received from us, when we spoke about the issue you were having we informed you of how to adjust the bars to make them fit your vehicle and have heard nothing since to suggest that the fitting did not go well, we may have been able to assist further before the item was damaged had we of been made aware. The problem with the roof bar fitting could have been explained and the gap would no longer have been there had it of been brought to our attention, we pride ourselves on our customer service and will go the extra mile for anyone given the chance and this may not have ended in a waste of money. Bought some Nissan Juke Side Steps, 8 month on they are pitted and look terrible. Car is washed and clean always. VanPimps try to blame salt on the UK roads and not washing car for the deterioration. This is an excuse not to refund or replace. Very poor quality products, very disappointing customer service. Now need to purchase quality products after 8 months from a better company. Shop around before purchasing here!

Having seen photos of the bars it is clear that the bars have been damaged by salt/grit from the roads over the winter period, salt that hasn't been wiped off through regular cleaning has reacted with the aluminium. You have said the driver side has less damage than the passenger side which backs up this theory 100% as the passenger side is the side of the vehicle nearest to the curb where more splashes occur from puddles. Any metal item left in long-term contact with a corrosive element like Salt will damage. I am sorry we cannot help in this instance and am sorry you have felt the need to leave a negative review. I can assure you 100% that wherever you buy side steps from if they are left in contact with salt etc they will mark, we have seen £800 genuine Range Rover steps with the same sort of markings as yours in less than a year as they weren't looked after.

The product description, spoke of very high quality, in fact I've copied directly front their web site below These are exceptional in every way. OEM style and quality. ..... Nope Great price. Yes Strong and look very sleek. We are sure you will be over the moon when you receive these as the quality is second to none. You know that feeling of o my word, how do they get away with selling such poor quality, cheap plastic fittings which don't fit right, I had to grind bits off cut bolts down, flabbergasted at how poorly the bars fit into the fittings, plastic adaptors which didn't clip together, shaped castings which don't quite match the shape of the roof ! Hugely disappointed, I should've spent the extra bought proper Mercedes rails and had them painted or coated black, in fact I might have to still !

Ordered ally running boards they were delivered on the said day I'm still trying to get them to fit the instructions consist of three images but no text I've phoned for help but as yet no reply looks like a case of we've got your cash so what the hell Dennis Mid Wales

Regarding my order for Vito van parts. I have not received the whole order although it has been paid for and no reasons been given for the delay. The parts that were received do not fit exactly. The adhesive tape for securing the mirror backs is not adequate they have both fallen off when closing the doors. I have had to use more adhesive to secure them properly!!
