Ordered a set of six windows. When they arrived 1 was smashed, 2 were scratched and one was chipped on the edge. Arranged for replacements which arrived after another week. This time 2 were smashed. Van pimps had used the same courier (Parcelforce) and the boxes didn't even have Fragile Glass written on them. I have requested a refund and arrangements to pick up several boxes of smashed glass. Bloody waste of time

Hi Mike, Firstly, I would like to say that we are glad to hear you finally received all that you ordered from ourselves and that we could resolve the issues that you experienced. Secondly, I would like to apologise on behalf of our courier for the service that you have received. I understand that receiving a damaged item can be frustrating for yourself, however we pack the goods extremely carefully and well protected but couriers tend to have very little respect for goods these days and unfortunately with the nature of glass, sometimes breakages can occur. We tried our best to resolve this as conveniently as possible for you, but unfortunately the courier let us down on a couple of occasions during this process, however I am glad that we could ultimately resolve everything for you.

Ordered product on 2nd Jan and still no sign of the order on 10th! Called 9th and told to wait another day and then call back... what kind of service is this. Would request a refund d please!

It was shipped within 2 working days of your order being placed and due to the shipping method it can take up to 5 working days to arrive. I made a purchase of some side steps for my Vito ,I rang Van Pimps to enquire about fitting instructions only to be told I could not have the item as it was out of stock and would not be restocked . I then had to contact them 3 more times to enquire about a refund .not very professional I will not bother with Van Pimps in the future

Hello Peter, you ordered a clearance set of side steps on Sat 28th October that unfortunately went out of stock the day before your order and we actually advised there was no point sending you the instructions as we couldn't supply the steps. (the instructions would've been in the package). We advised you on Monday 30th October that we didn't have the item and would issues a refund. You contacted us on Tuesday 31st October asking where the refund was and this was processed and back with you on Thursday 2nd November which was as quick as we could get the money back to your account. Sent wrong size, did not reply to my timing email. Asked for morning delivery didn’t reply and received late afternoon delivery. Won’t be using van pimps and defiantly won’t recommend. Also did not give any form of reduction or compensation as I lost 3 days of work

Hi Shahid, we are sorry your order was delivered in the afternoon as opposed to the morning, we delivered this item on our own van but the driver hit traffic on the M6 which made his route delayed. I was sent the wrong rails, and some how you don't have the mechanism to rectify errors, the customers is on its own. Profesional companies don't work lake that.

Hi Dominic, you actually ordered the wrong roof rails after being advised which ones to order when you spoke to our customer services dept on the phone before placing your order this is why you had to return the goods at your cost, if it is our fault we offer a faultless swap or refund process at no cost to the customer, you returned the goods and we refunded them straight away. We are a professional company and it clearly states in our terms if the customer orders incorrectly they have to bear the cost of returning the unwanted items, this is pretty standard practice in eCommerce but I am sorry you are dissatisfied with the service you received.

Packed badly, window arrived smashed to pieces, refused to do anything about it. Told me that a photo of the received package would qualify for a VAT refund as shipped out of UK, then make you jump through hoops to get it. Shocking... Never again

Hi Jon, we delivered the goods to a UK address where they were signed for in good condition and then you had them forwarded on to you. Unfortunately we cannot be responsible for damage that occurs when you are having goods shipped by a third party courier who has accepted our goods and signed for them as 'in good condition'. As for a VAT refund, once we receive proof the goods are out of the UK we can refund the VAT, we only asked for images to approve this and didn't ask you to 'jump through hoops'. We advise customers we do not ship glass overseas and if you choose to ship out of the UK yourself unfortunately we cannot be held liable, the goods are well packaged (we send out hundreds of glass deliveries per week so always ensure they are well packed). Sorry we couldn't help, you will need to make a claim against the courier who delivered the goods to you.

What you think your paying for and what you actually get are two completely different things. The picture shows a complete stainless steel front grill section, but in fact they are only selling the crossbars inside the grill. Need to make it much clearer on their website what your going to get. Extremely disappointed as I think the crossbars are a waste of time and money. Have resprayed the whole grill and it looks fantastic. Cost £6.50 in Halfords.

The parts I ordered from van pimp's for my fist ducato front grill where very poor quality compared to the imige put up on your Web site in fact I think the grill shown was a sprayed unit not stainless steel parts as sent to me . I complained and sent them back and recived a full refund except for my return postage

Extremely disappointed, after 4 different delivery’s I finally received all my windows. After cutting out my first two windows I realised I had been sent two near side windows, which could not be used on both sides. Not enough room or time to explain all the human errors made, beware!

Bought appollo side steps for a long wheelbase ford custom minibus,to be told they don't fit minibus,no mention of this,only not suitable for heavy use ( taxi etc) so out there must be a van as a taxi ? Won't use you again stuck with a pair of steps

Hi Rachel, Sorry you aren't happy with your order. We do specify on the website that these bars fit the Transit Custom van but the minibus has a different chassis meaning the brackets are not designed to fit your van, hence why we don't say they fit minibuses. You are welcome to return the steps for a full refund if you wish. We would've preferred you contacting us to resolve the issue rather than leaving a 1 star review. Regards Vanpimps

First order 50% of the items were damaged and not delivered, 50% of the items that did arrive were also damaged. Unable to get through to customer services for 4 hours - sales line were unhelpful the first time round. The second time they eventually logged a ticket. Returning the part that we delivered faulty was made difficult, would not send packing but would not accept without. We needed to transport the windows ourselves but had the give the box up to return it. When we put the windows in the siding part of the near side window was not center to the rest of the window so there for did not fit the van correctly. Seems that standard trims are just sent with all sets as even though we ordered for a specific type of can the trims we far to small and we had to purchase our own else where. Ordered four windows, was only sent two cleaning wipes (after paying over £600 I would have expected a wipe for each window) Over all very dissatisfied and will not be using them for future project and will not be recommending. If anything I would advise to avoid.

Spent £250 on parts, first no instructions with the parts then brackets were missing. I phoned and got told it would take 4 working days to receive missing parts! Terrible service. I wouldnt use again. After having to complain they agreed to send missing parts quicker.

Hi Mandy, Sorry for the inconvenience caused with your order, you were advised that our standard small parcel courier is MyHermes who can take up to 4 working days to deliver goods but as you needed urgently we sent them via our next day courier, this was not a problem and we were happy to help and assumed you were happy with this solution, we apologise if this wasn't the case.

Box open at one end when delivered and bolts missing, kit is not bolt on with no drilling as described. Service from tele sales lady good but after service very poor. Had to get a professional fitting service fo supply missing parts and carry out installation.

Hi Michael, Apologies if the parcel arrived damaged, we sent our replacement parts ASAP so you could get your bars fitted. As we sell hundreds of this type of bar for your van we are unsure why you had to drill your van, all our bars require NO DRILLING and fix to existing fixing points on your van, we provide PDF guides and a video on our website which shows you how and where to fit the bars and most customers have no problems fitting them themselves, I am sorry this wasn't the case with you. we ordered citroen relay curtain kits......you sent us fiat ducato...they dont fit. and charged us £20 post. RUBBISH........TOTAL RUBBISH

Hi Tim, In actual fact a Citroen Relay and Fiat Ducato is the same van other than the front grill and badge, so the curtains should fit your vehicle, however feel free to get in touch to resolve this, not sure why you were charged £20 postage unless you were non mainland UK but get in touch and we will assist you. The order took 3 months to deliver, the quality of the products when the order was eventually completed was appalling. I'll not be pimping my van with them.

Hi Michael, I appreciate you were waiting a long time for your products, however when you ordered these they were purchased on 'Backordered' which means they are out of stock, you then would have received a phone call asking if you wanted a refund or if you were happy to wait the time until they are back in stock, which you were. I appreciate that 3 months is a long time and i do apologise but we had a few set backs with the delivery of these unfortunately. You would have been made aware of any delays and offered a refund at every point in case you were not happy to wait the length of time. If you were not happy with the product you are of course more than welcome to send it back to us for a full refund. I'm sorry you are unhappy with the product. Kindest regards Vanpimps.

my initial comments about my purchased product "van curtain" was met with what could only be described as child like excuses in that the state of the packaging was blamed on the delivery company.. The delivery company did not package the curtain in a poorly taped oversized box , namely six foot tall and 18 inches wide. Ridiculous by any standard. A small footnote, packaging tape should be stuck to both edges of the cardboard. What arrived looked like a nursery school project. The lack of pre drilled holes in the top rail was blamed on your supplier. Was told to tap the rail into place with a mallet because it did not fit properly, fair enough if tapping was all that was required but had to completely reshape the bottom rail. Also told it was supposed to be a snug fitted curtain. Snug does not explain having a 4 inch gap between the bottom of the curtain and the bottom rail. The strain on the seams. is frightening. So much so that I dare not fully close the curtain. Would have returned instantly but feared no response and losing my money from a company that has no pride in their products or packaging. Poor,poor,poor. That said, it did arrive on time. WOW. Little recompense thou. Needless to say I will not be using you again or recommending you to anybody. Your loss as I am completely refurbishing my van out and will be using a more reputable company

Hi Tony, Thanks for your review. We take all feedback on board. I'm sorry that you were not happy with how your product or how it was packed, however we pack all of these products in larger boxes as its the only box we have that the rails will fit in. The box would have left our warehouse in perfect condition as we take pride in how we pack our products trying to prevent damage upon delivery, if the box came to you not looking its best that of course would be because its is packed onto the back of a lorries along with other boxes and sometimes unfortunately the boxes do get damaged. The bottom rail would have been curved to the van however not all contours of van are the same so a little adjustments do need to be made. The curtains are a very snug fit, they are supposed to fit tight, i appreciate some curtains are made smaller and if we are made aware of this we swap the curtain for you. Of course if your are not happy with the product you are more than welcome to send it back to us for a full refund. Please accept my upmost apology. Product was not good quality,(side bars and cross bars) one roof bar was scratched, poor fittings, no instructions. No response to emails. Rubbish.

Hi Mark Many thanks for your review, after looking into this matter further I can confirm that my colleague did respond to your email explaining that we didn't have any instructions for the wing bars at that point, however the following day she did email several pictures to you of the wing bars and how they should be assembled. As you did not reply we assumed you had received the emails and were able to fit the wing bars. Also in the email that was received you did not mention that you had any damage to your roof bars, if you had of course we would have been more than happy to rectify this for you. Items were delivered quickly. Step covers are not as described or pictured, roof bars do not fit properly, instructions were as good as useless and do not even look the same as the bars in the box, the quality of the plastic parts supplied with the roof bars was terrible bits of excess plastic had to be removed, overall really dissappointed!

Of course we take feedback on board- I believe you were communicating with one of the ladies in the office with regards to these issues at which she was trying to help and did advise that if you were not happy with the products you could send them back to us for a full refund, within the space of a few hours you had sorted the roof rails yourself and fitted them and told us you didn't want to send the step plates back. Quick and efficient ordering and delivery. Please note I did check item apon delivery, no obvious signs of faults or damage I have said 1 star, the reason is for the quality of the spolier, having spent £180 having the spoiler painted and fitted professional, only for 4 days later for the spoiler to form a crack down the middle! The garage has assured me it is the quality of the product as aposed to the finishing and fitting. Would not recommend this product. Van in question is a vauxhall vivaro.

Hi Anthony, sorry you are not happy with the rear spoilers you purchased from us and they have developed a crack. We have discussed with our suppliers about this and spent a lot of time looking into your issue and the only thing that we can think is that either there was a problem with fitting it or the rear door had been slammed shut causing it to crack as it is only on one spoiler. It's human nature that your garage will pass the blame to the product but we sell hundreds of these spoilers, have them fitted to one of our demo vans (fitted for 18 months now) and have never had this issue before. The item as you admitted was received by you intact and even after spraying wasn't damaged so it can only really be slamming the door shut that has caused this crack. We are still working to resolve this issue for you as best we can and would've appreciated the chance to do this before receiving this negative review. We will be in touch later today with an update. I purchased some door sills for my van. After taking payment, I recirved a phone call to say they weren't in stock, I waited near 2 weeks for the item, which was my choice. When they did finally arrive, they were not as shown in the image on the website & the adhesive provided did nothing to attach them. (Yes the surface was clean & dry). I contacted the company to discuss a refund or possibly some credit. To date I have still received no reply to my complaint so am now £60 down with a product that isn't up to standard & a company that aren't replying. Avoid.
