“Very good,very quick service I ordered some van curtains in preparation for the new window being fitted thinking they would be a few days(as the website suggests) so I was happily surprised that when I got home from work the next day I had a box to open???? After I had the window installed it was curtain time,must say a great product,had to do a modification to make the top rail pass the door slider(easy enough to do) so now the new window and curtain up, Looks great and gives that privacy that the privacy glass don't quite give All in all,great service and great product ????”

“I bought twice. Toyota hiace NSF fixed. First one fell out when I closed the tailgate. I think it is because the window is too big particularly along the top and bottom edge. The edges hit the walls of the recess way before it meets the flat (or rubber trim rather). One glue / bond was not sufficient and being inexperienced I did not know this. For the second attempt I locally sourced Total Bond, much cheaper and used for aircrafts. It's quick drying and I used 2 tubes to make the window stand high in the recess. Specific instructions for this type of problem would have been useful or a smaller cut window. Anyway so far so good and I still have an untouched fixing kit if you refund?”

Hi Joanne, sorry your first window fell out, this sounds like a fitting issue due to you trying to fit the windows with a rubber external trim, our windows are designed to bond into the ENTIRE recess and if you have something else (like a rubber trim) in the recess they won't fit perfectly. In terms of bonding adhesive we only sell approved window bonding adhesive and whilst other adhesive may do the job to your satisfaction we would recommend sticking with window adhesive. If you want to return the fixing kit you have you are welcome to just contact our customer services team who will be more than happy to help!

“Bought appollo side steps for a long wheelbase ford custom minibus,to be told they don't fit minibus,no mention of this,only not suitable for heavy use ( taxi etc) so out there must be a van as a taxi ? Won't use you again stuck with a pair of steps”

Hi Rachel, Sorry you aren't happy with your order. We do specify on the website that these bars fit the Transit Custom van but the minibus has a different chassis meaning the brackets are not designed to fit your van, hence why we don't say they fit minibuses. You are welcome to return the steps for a full refund if you wish. We would've preferred you contacting us to resolve the issue rather than leaving a 1 star review. Regards Vanpimps

“when i placed the order online i was prompted if i wanted text alerts as to the dilivery time/date ect, i opted for them however i didnt recieve any, however the item was delivered ontime and in good order. so it wasnt a major issue, but its good when the digital world meets the expectations or reality.”

“I ordered the Merceds Vito sliding door package from Vanpimps & when went to collect from shipping merchant noticed that small shards of glass werw next to the box. On closer expection it appeard that one of the Windows had smashed in transit, therefore I refused to sign for the broken goods & advised the shipping merchant to return them. I notified Vanpimps of the issue by e-mailing the customer service team including photos showing the broken glass. The team were professional & investigated my query & arranged for replacement order to be sent out within 3 days with no additional costs including waiving the shipping fee. I was very happy with the service I received & was constantly kept up to date with how matters were progressing & even when they had resent the order. All things considered & the fact that the above circumstances were out of their control I have no complaints. I will continue to order from Vanpimps as I work on my project. “I bought 2 windows to fit my VW Crafter LWB. Both windows appear to be good quality and I'm happy with how they look on the van. Delivery was also very quick, the order arrived the next day! I fitted both windows myself using the fitting/bonding kit from van pimps, after watching one of the diy fitting videos. The only issue I had was that the glass primer bottle dried out 24 hours after opening, meaning I had to buy another bottle of primer. Not the end of the world but annoying!”

“You guys saved my butt. Good price, delivery at the speed of light, were the only people I could find in the country who actually had what I needed in stock. In fact, the only downside is that now I want everything on the site. Thanks Vanpimps, we will be back for running boards!”
