“I purchased some door sills for my van. After taking payment, I recirved a phone call to say they weren't in stock, I waited near 2 weeks for the item, which was my choice. When they did finally arrive, they were not as shown in the image on the website & the adhesive provided did nothing to attach them. (Yes the surface was clean & dry). I contacted the company to discuss a refund or possibly some credit. To date I have still received no reply to my complaint so am now £60 down with a product that isn't up to standard & a company that aren't replying. Avoid.”

“I could not fault Van Pimps as they delivered on time even at this time of year, the product however was not as straight forward as the write up would suggest. The instructions were nothing more than an attempt to list the items supplied, I had to do a fair bit of trimming and had to buy two more bolts as the ones supplied were just not long enough, minor gripe but annoying.”

I'm sorry to hear that you had trouble fitting your Vito roof rails, however this is the first that we have heard of this and of course if you had given us a call we would have been more than happy to help you and rectify the problem with the bolts being too short. “Ordered 2 side windows for my vito both arrived less than 48hrs later and very well packaged. The quality is very good and their fitting video is much better than an ikea style fitting instructions”

“Ordered 5 windows, one arrived smashed, but a replacement was sent out quickly after proof of the smashed one was provided. Could have done with a more detailed youtube clip online to watch showing how to apply the adhesive using the notched nozzle. I only figured this out on the last two windows and consequently have quite a few leaks to rectify with bathroom silicone. I also managed to stick the nearside rear glass a touch too far forward, so it just fouls on the sliding door when it opens (not when it's shutting). A heads up on this for the total novice would be really helpful too! Overall an excellent quality product, at a very reasonable price.”

“Found the ordering process simple and received the correct part as requested and it arrived within the timeframe stated. Fitted the part without drama and continued with life ,almost boring ! “A mistake was made on the correct side step ordered for my vivaro and i phoned up to change it and had no hassles in another being sent out very promptly with no restocking or carriage fee. All in all a very professional company with excellent customer care just what you want. Keep up the good work VAN PIMPS.”

“Receiving my order of Stainless Steel wing mirror covers - Grill Strips -Door Handle covers , The latter two were ok but the issue was the so called superior Wing mirror covers , these were very flimsy and not worth the price , also luckily i had ordered the adhesive as there was no way the sticky strips would of held any of the above items in place , in fact anybody fitting these items need, wire - duck tape - and the adhesive , i also removed the sticky strips before fitting.Being impulsive i fitted them but in hindsight should of sent them back .”

“Quick delivery and Nice product but can't stand on them as not strong enough. One bracket had to be fabricated as petrol tank in place where you are supposed to put it. Still nice eye candy I suppose”

Hi Simon, Sorry to hear that, We have sold many of these and never had this issue. They can be used for practical use like stepping to get in and out of the vehicle. With regards to fitting you shouldn't have needed to fabricate any bracket and all the correct fixing points should be there without anything in the way. please do not hesitate to contact us if needed.
