“I ordered a set of stainless steel handle covers and back door grab handle for my new Relay van and was a bit apprehensive of the quality. I need not have worried as they where perfect, I am going to order a set of wing mirror covers next!”

“I was really impressed by Van Pimps as the day after I placed my order I received a call asking if I was aware that I had ordered 4 van windows!! They realised that I had probably misunderstood the listing thinking that the price was for 1 window, not a pair, They instantly changed the order and refunded me for the second pair. This saved a huge amount of hassle as I would have had to return the unwanted pair etc. Many thanks!!”

“The polished stainless steel door handles for my Fiat Ducato based motorhome seemed expensive but I have to say that they are well made and look superb. The cab doors look so much better and everyone comments on them. The handles are really easy to fit and I recommend the use of the mastic which VanPimps recommend.”

“The instructions were just pictures and not very good ones at that. The bar wings are not wide enough to fit the vehicle and customer service said they were the correct ones and that they moved but didn't give me any idea on how to move them once they had clicked into the end plastic pieces. I have tried all sorts of things and now damaged the plastic end caps. So my money is completely wasted. Should have known better and bought Thule. The roof bars rear seals are too small leaving a considerable gap between the vehicle roof track and the fitting. A waste of money - don't buy this product.”

Hi Paul, We are sorry to hear that you are not happy with the product you received from us, when we spoke about the issue you were having we informed you of how to adjust the bars to make them fit your vehicle and have heard nothing since to suggest that the fitting did not go well, we may have been able to assist further before the item was damaged had we of been made aware. The problem with the roof bar fitting could have been explained and the gap would no longer have been there had it of been brought to our attention, we pride ourselves on our customer service and will go the extra mile for anyone given the chance and this may not have ended in a waste of money. “Impressed with the side bars, just that not all the bolts arrived with them... Struggled to get through to the store, couldn't leave a voicemail because the voice box was full... Ashame to to say as its only the missing bolts that was the problem. Fast delivery, well wrapped packaging, quality item.”

“Bought some Nissan Juke Side Steps, 8 month on they are pitted and look terrible. Car is washed and clean always. VanPimps try to blame salt on the UK roads and not washing car for the deterioration. This is an excuse not to refund or replace. Very poor quality products, very disappointing customer service. Now need to purchase quality products after 8 months from a better company. Shop around before purchasing here!”

Having seen photos of the bars it is clear that the bars have been damaged by salt/grit from the roads over the winter period, salt that hasn't been wiped off through regular cleaning has reacted with the aluminium. You have said the driver side has less damage than the passenger side which backs up this theory 100% as the passenger side is the side of the vehicle nearest to the curb where more splashes occur from puddles. Any metal item left in long-term contact with a corrosive element like Salt will damage. I am sorry we cannot help in this instance and am sorry you have felt the need to leave a negative review. I can assure you 100% that wherever you buy side steps from if they are left in contact with salt etc they will mark, we have seen £800 genuine Range Rover steps with the same sort of markings as yours in less than a year as they weren't looked after.

“I bought some side windows from your company but came with no instructions and rang to ask, but no instructions are provided and you didn't know how they fitted either so had to find out myself. Would be handy to have some sort of instruction leaflet same with rear spoiler we bought as well. Cheers sean”

Hi Sean, I am confused by your comment that we don't know how the windows fit, we would've given you the same advice we give all our customers who ask for help, as we do actually fit windows too so know how to help. We also send video links on window fitting if people are struggling so your feedback seems strange but glad you got the items fitted. In terms of the spoilers, they just bond to your vehicle therefore instructions shouldn't be necessary. Thanks for your custom and if you need any help in future give us a call.

“Ordered a bonnet bra for a vivaro. The item was delivered pretty quickly and there was clear instructions on how to fit rather than having pages of bumf to read through. I would recommended.”

“The product description, spoke of very high quality, in fact I've copied directly front their web site below These are exceptional in every way. OEM style and quality. ..... Nope Great price. Yes Strong and look very sleek. We are sure you will be over the moon when you receive these as the quality is second to none. You know that feeling of o my word, how do they get away with selling such poor quality, cheap plastic fittings which don't fit right, I had to grind bits off cut bolts down, flabbergasted at how poorly the bars fit into the fittings, plastic adaptors which didn't clip together, shaped castings which don't quite match the shape of the roof ! Hugely disappointed, I should've spent the extra bought proper Mercedes rails and had them painted or coated black, in fact I might have to still !”

“Ordered ally running boards they were delivered on the said day I'm still trying to get them to fit the instructions consist of three images but no text I've phoned for help but as yet no reply looks like a case of we've got your cash so what the hell Dennis Mid Wales”

“Purchased a set of side runners for a transit custom, very poor instructions. In fact the photos in the instructions aren't the brackets that come with the runners. 45 minutes to fit it says! Took over 2 hours. Also just to say when I called for help I was told I would get a call back on Monday am, this didn't happen, I called then I was told Dillon would call back, this didn't happen either. When I did speak to Dillon he was very helpful and did say send them back if I wasn't happy. I have now managed to install them but the design needs looking at, which I know is nothing to do with vanpimps.”
