About Urban Cooling:

At Urban Cooling, we have been installing all types of air conditioning solutions into residential, commercial, retail and leisure premises for over 20 years.

We specialise in providing air conditioning to buildings which otherwise cannot have it. With our solutions, buildings such as apartments and listed buildings can have the same standard of air conditioning as conventional systems provide, without the need for an external unit.

Operating within the M25, we undertake installations across all London postcodes.

“Urban Cooling were on time. The operative was extremely polite and explained exactly what he was going to do to the system. System was checked, cleaned and put make. He covered over any items that could t be moved carefully. I would highly recommended Urban Cooling.”

“I've been really impressed by Urban Cooling's water cooled AC system. It is very effective and one of the best decisions we made on the flat, water cooled systems aren't as cheap as some alternatives but honestly, we've tried a few and they simply don't compare if you can't have external condensers which most apartments can't. The difference it made - cool, effective, quiet etc - made a huge difference to our dual aspect (south and west) facing apartment with large non opening windows. The team were quick, effective, efficient and friendly to deal with before, during and for servicing afterwards. I would recommend. SW London Apartment.”

“I was in the process of buying a new flat, and I wanted to work out whether it would be feasible to get air-conditioning installed. I found a Urban Cooling (whom I’d used for service on my old flat) very helpful with ideas and happy to come do a survey.”

“Had 2 air con units installed. Relieved to be able to have a home that can be used year round and can have air con without external condenser. The condenser was installed in a hall cupboard which is far enough away from the other rooms to not be able to hear it churning away. The actual air con units were Panasonic and work as you’d expect. Quiet enough to be able to sleep with it running and controlled through tv Panasonic all (also wired in bedroom and hand held controller in living room). Yes it’s expensive but my home was unbearable in summer so I consider it an investment. The installers knew what they were doing despite being a tricky install with the amount of room they had to install the condenser. Overall I’m happy with the install and results.”

“Appalling ! Has cost me over 2 thousand pounds to redecorate after the diabolical mess left. Randomly situated the units in unsightly positions in the rooms . One unit after under 4 months had come away from the wall . Have been back 3 times to correct matters and nothing has actually been corrected Do not use this company!!”

Dear Judy, Thank you for your review. We have to be honest with you as we always have been from the beginning, your system was particularly hard to install due to the solid concrete walls within your property, we had to make more access areas to pull the pipework to the correct places of which in turn left more decoration works required at the end of the installation. However, as per our quotation, you were faced with the original quoted price of £600 for the redecoration works and in fact, it was us as a company that absorbed the additional cost by our subcontractor decorator. So we do not understand why you have stated you paid over £2,000 to redecorate. With regards to the randomly situated units, this is also very odd as we discussed the locations with you during the survey, and again prior to installation, the installation team installed them in the positions of your choice. Unfortunately, a wall-mounted unit has come away in one corner as the pipework is very tight due to the structural beam directly behind it, however, we have offered to come back and remedy the issue at our cost as all our installations come with a full 5-year labour and parts warranty. We are very sorry you felt compelled to write a negative review, we have offered to return and sort any issues, so not sure what else we can do. Regards Tony Ellerker

“I had air conditioning (with a water cooled condenser so no outdoor box) installed in my high rise flat. Mark and the team did a phenomenal job. Installation went by quickly in 1 day and with extremely minimal patch up work required. I wish I had done the installation sooner! The units are very high quality Panasonic ones, wifi connected and compatible with Google Home, Alexa, etc. so I can set the temperature as I am heading home from work. I have had the units for a year bow. I can’t recommend them enough!”

“I am staying in the top floor unit. It was something unbearable during the heat wave last year. I decided to look for an A/C for this summer. I have called for 3 A/C companies to quote. - Urbancooling came with the most competitive quote. I would say it is quite reasonable. We are from HK and so we know how much a A/C should cost - Only one with a demo setup to show how the system works - Hotlines is always responsive I have to give credit to Lisa, Ian and Gary's team, wonderful experience working with them. No hesitation to recommend Urbancooling to anyone.”
