“Really weighty slab of slate which will hopefully last for years. Good lines of communication from start of process to the end. One minor disappointment. The depth of engraving of numbers and letters was not as ‘deep’ as expected. Even allowing for this, an excellent product I’m very happy with.”

“I selected this company based upon the product available and the reviews from customers. The company are excellent with their communications and response to queries. I knew that I would have to wait for the house sign to be produced but the delivery was faster than I expected. Reading the reviews I learned that some customers had received damaged goods so it was not a great surprise to find that mine also had a chip on one corner. This was slight but with a premium product such as this it was not acceptable. The material used - granite - and the deep engraving with gold paint on the lettering were all excellent and I would really recommend the product. However the packing was not adequate to protect an item like this and it was obvious from the damage on the packing how the item got damaged. I contacted the company (UK Signs) and they responded within minutes asking for photos of the item. I sent a full front photo to identify the item and a close up of the damage. I suggested to them that I could 'hide' the damage with a little grinding (I am an engineer) and we agreed some compensation. I have suggested that they seriously review their packaging methods and they have agreed that it is necessary. I cannot fault the company at all because the response and outcome have been first class. The product (if undamaged) is excellent too. In all honesty I could have given 5 stars but the packing is still their responsibility unltimately, hence the 4 stars. I would definately recommend the product and the company, adn I would use them again.”
