Unfortunately the sign broke into two pieces when being fitted to the wall. I admit, it was during the final stages of tightening the screw, but as far as I'm concerned I was not overtightening. The sign felt quite thin which is probably by design. Nevertheless, if it had been slightly thicker I'm confident that it would not have broken. The bottom line is it has been a waste of money.

We were under the impression that it auto came with glass on top of sign, like the picture. However it didn’t and when looking back on order and website, it’s an add on. Pictures when designing your sign are misleading as it show full sign.

I've been asked to write a review of an item that hasn't arrived yet. It's not due until later this week so I guess my review is - what's the point in asking for a review before you've delivered the item? It certainly doesn't create a great deal of confidence in the company's organisation.

Unfortunately, our review email is generated through our system within a certain time frame and when the couriers are slightly delayed, this will send ahead of time. Previews on the display aren’t great, ours doesn’t look anything like it and looks super tacky when it’s arrived. Perhaps the engraved version in a different font would have been better - but it ours looked fine on the preview. Not happy and won’t be putting it up, feel as though I’ve wasted £30

The house sign ordered on 14 April is still yet to arrive. The plastic numbers arrived on Saturday, but only two were in the package when I ordered 3. I hope this will get resolved soon.

Not impressed. The plate painted with a can of white paint, no engraving, the colour is very likely to disappear within few months

Fed up with the customer being final quality control. A shard of slate was painted into the number. Too much trouble returning so repaired and repainted. Disappointed.

This is the second time I have been asked to write a review but I haven’t received the sign yet thanks to Hermes (or Evri as they call themselves now) losing / misplacing / ignoring the order! You asked me to send you an email which I did and apparently, you ignored it. I contacted your help desk and eventually you suggested you would put in a request to your carrier to investigate where the order had gone. That’s it, all quiet again. The sign (this order) which was for a Mother’s Day present has not been delivered and knowing how useless Hermes is, I doubt it ever will be. I did ask for you to cancel the order and refund my purchase but was told it wasn’t possible as the order was in transit. So, as long as Hermes don’t find it and give it a status of ‘on its way’ as they have for the last 10 days, I presume you will still class that as “in transit” and not reimburse me.

From looking into this for you, I can see we had advised we have to allow up to 10 working days for the order to be attempted for delivery before we can open an investigation, which is advised by our couriers during busier periods. This is the second signage I have received as the first was damaged. There was a dent on the original aluminium back plate when I unwrapped it, however the customer service team were really helpful and sent out a replacement. I have now received the replacement aluminium plate and I am very disappointed that this has both a dent and a scratch (making it 2orse tan the guest one I received). I will not unfortunately therefore be able to recommend based on my own experiences. Both packages were wrapped extremely well and the marks did not occur during postage, therefore it is disappointing to realise they were posted out in a damaged state.

The screws provided were of poor quality and got damaged when using them so we had to use others. The sign itself is a bit flimsy but does the job. Easily scratched.

Sadly was a little disappointed, thought was getting slate & was actually slate coloured over a hard plastic.

The ordering process was smoth and easy. The signs themselves were of a good quality and I think offered extremely good value for money. However, the fixing materials for the Ivy Slate House Sign I ordered were not up to the task and I had to supply my own screws and plugs. Delivery was fast and the order well protected with protective wrapping.

One of our sign screw cap covers went missing in the recent bad weather. Our enquiry was responded to quickly. The low review is given due to the postage cost being more than the replacements we had to buy. New ones fit much better than the originals so maybe the originals were not fit for purpose. The replacements were not complimentary which is disappointing considering the original cost of the sign purchased.

I can confirm that as your screw caps were fit for purpose for 7 months, it is more than likely as mentioned in the correspondence that it was due to the adverse weather that we have had recently.
