Pleased with the radiator but the delivery people (DX Express) were appalling!! Put me off using UK radiators again

Looking at the tracking history, I can see that next day delivery was attempted, however there was nobody to accept delivery so this was attempted the following day when successful delivery was made. The radiators are lovely however there was a prompt to buy matching valves and I was consequently sold the wiring ones. A disclaimer to check which possible valves were needed would have avoided this. Proving painful to return the unused pipe covers.

Purchased designer radiator (Thetford) just been connected by plumber, but radiator rattles when you walk by it. Fixings are secure checked by plumber, will have to contact UK Radiators or rattle does not go.

Hello Robert, I am sorry to hear that you have an issue with your radiator installation. Since leaving this review we have got i touch with you to discuss this, to see if we can help to resolve the issue. Noises within plumbing systems can be hard to locate, however based on what you have advised, we are under the impression that the sound is coming from the new pipework installed, rather than the internals of the radiator, especially as you are hearing the noise when the radiator is not in use. Radiator absolutely fine but did not appreciate the delivery man knocking on the door 6:30 in the morning to make the delivery that is far too early.

They look very nice but still waiting on my heating engineer to install them. Unfortunately, the valves I ordered with them are not compatible with the existing pipework and I have had no response from UK Radiators, to two emails, as to their return and refund process, so a bit disappointed by their after sales customer care to be honest.

The actual towel rail seems to be of a decent quality so no real complaints there. I was confused as when ordering an electric only rail it was delivered in two parts, the towel rail then a converter for the electrical element. I asked if the towel rail came with a rust inhibitor and was told it did, fortunately I bought a separate bottle as it didn't. It says on the website that they aim for next day delivery but to allow up to 3 days, once I had confirmation I tried to change the delivery from Thursday to Friday, unfortunately half the goods turned up on Thursday anyway and the remainder of the package were delivered on Friday! The first package was left despite it supposedly requiring a signature! I know that the excuse will be that a courier was used but I think that the two parts should have been taped together, the combined weight is well under 25g.

The ordering process was good but fell apart slightly after that. Because my plumber was unable to fit the rad straight away the two chips on it were not noticed until the whole was unpacked. Unfortunate, but he was able to position it so that only one minor chip was visible. The rad itself looks good but shame it wasn't quality checked prior to despatch

Whilst we do everything we can to try and reduce the possibility of this happening, unfortunately it is not possible to 100% guarantee every delivery arrives without damage. We advise in our emails to you that your delivery is checked fully before your installer arrives, incase there is an issue like this that we can have resolved before your installer is there. UK radiators had a good choice of radiators at a very competitive price. I ordered a wifi enabled smart bathroom radiator which has now been in use for a month. The radiator has so far proved to be reliable with a good output. I marked the review down because the courier employed (DX)were hopeless,very poor communications and tracking. Although the radiator works well and looks good,pairing with the app is a nightmare,3 hours in this case. In conclusion I would recommend UKRadiators but not the radiator I bought,which is a:- Zennor - Chrome Electric Towel Rail H1200mm x W600mm Straight 600w Thermostatic WIFI × 1

Very prompt shipment. Well packaged, first radiator seemed good quality for the money. The second not so much, brackets on the back not straight (twisted) making it hard to level the rad. The radiator is not flush across the base, uneven "planks" bit of a rough finish/quality over all (see pics)

The T junction support to fix the wall hung radiator, sheared when my plumber tried to attach it to the wall. A trip to Screwfix to buy a more robust, reliable part & more expense resulted. Your part was not fit for purpose. I’d be delighted if you recompense me. Thank you.

A T-Junction is usually used for installing a valve and element for dual fuel, not for attaching to the wall. Bought valves and added the matching pipe sleeves and bleed valve. Turned out not to be in stock for a couple months so had to get it refunded. They proactively reached out via email to let me know, although it would've been more helpful to have a warning at checkout stage. I'd previously put together my basket when things were in stock and just checked out a few days later in order to time delivery for when I'd be in, so didn't see the note on the product pages. They tried to sell me some valves at twice the price as an alternative, so I had to go elsewhere to make my purchase. All went smoothly with the refund, so it worked out OK, even if it was a bit of a hassle. I've since received quite a few emails asking for a review, so hopefully this will stop those.

Ordering and delivery and being kept updated was excellent. When we checked them we noticed one was slightly damaged. Plumber already booked so didn’t have time to change. Please see photos of the damaged grill on the 1400 radiator.
