“Supposed to be plus sized but thighs are so small my average sized friend struggled to get in them. Waist was huge though, nice and stretchy. Do not buy if you are over 5'10, they will not fit. So, if you're average size with super skinny thighs but quite a big waist, these tights are for you.”

“The quality seems very good but very disappointed that the colour, in reality, does not match the on-line colour chart. So the turquoise (Selva) I though I had ordered turns out to be green! It would be helpful if the tights were given a colour description instead of a name. Now I am out of pocket and still have no tights for my wedding outfit....”

“Hi I have placed orders with you in April I have received part of an original order but not the second order . When I went online I found both items were in stock a week later received the above item. I have had to ring you about 7 weeks back about this order, I was told it will be 2 weeks . Whilst the Manufactors are to blame for the delay I do feel you should of kept me updated .”

Dear Chenfei I hope you have now received my email regarding your order's tracking details. To explain further, when sending with Royal Mail (as we do), when shipping to China, they can only offer a 'Signed For' option, rather than a 'Tracked' option (or both options - which are available for some countries). This means that you may use the so called 'Tracking ID' provided to track your order up until it leaves the UK. After this point, Royal Mail are unable to continue to provide tracking for it. However, it will require your signature for collection, as an added security measure. Should you wish to have tracking on any future orders (that is, tracking for all of the journey from the UK to China), you are welcome to arrange for a courier to collect your order from us. “The lace band became detached after a few uses and the fit was a bit weird, seemed the band was too large for the leg or just didn't suit my leg shape (slim)”

“I found these tights to be a nightmare! I bought them in xxl size, I'm a size 20 and they should have fit no problem. They didn't seem to have quite enough material in the legs or the waist and the torso part of the tights rolled down to my hips. Not a very good look! I guess IF there is a next time I'll buy the Maxi, however they don't seem to be in stock very often.”

Dear Gemma I'm sorry to hear that you weren't happy with the tights. It's important when buying tights that you check each product's size guide, as sizing can vary wildly between brands. As it is, Trasparenze is a comparatively small-sized brand as it is manufactured in Italy, whereas a brand such as Kunert would have generous sizing, as it's made in Germany. “It took more than 2 month to receive the tights. I am also not happy with the quality of the tights as they have a very unpleasant smell even after washing a few times. It seems a strange smelling chemicals have been used. I am reluctant to wear them as I am worried to put them on my skin.”

Regarding the smell of the tights, I have checked the same tights which you bought, in our warehouse, and they appear to have the usual tights smell. It is possible that you may have received items from a different batch and if you are concerned about the finish, please do return them to us for testing. “Disappointing, tights arrived with a big pull in them despite being packaged in plastic. Worse still they refused to replace them quickly, having me return them beforehand, so new wedding reception outfit had to be shelved and another quickly found. Disappointing.”

“I ordered some leg avenue stockings. They were described as size 14-16. When package arrived it was a one size item (10-16) Poor fit, poor quality fabric with very little stretch and so thin. Not as described! And as leg avenue items are not returnable, I won't bother ordering anything form here ever again. As it's very expensive for something of such poor quality!”

“I know that fishnets are delicate but I was less than happy that, having put them on for the first time, found that, on pulling them down for the first time, the waistband rolled up at the back into a irretrievable tangle and they got torn. One wear for £7.99 is pretty poor value.”

“Ordered 4 pairs of hold-ups which were supposedly all in stock. Only 2 pairs delivered with no indication of when other 2 pairs will be delivered as they are now out of stock. Money taken for all 4 pairs! I now have hassle of chasing 2 outstanding or obtaining refund!”
