“Love your company at but a lot of the products are really short...it would be great to have a realistic size guide available as I am 5’10 and too many brands come up really short!”

“Don’t normally give poor reviews but I’m disappointed with my experience. The size chart for these tights tells me I need a size 1 but the product is only available in sizes 2, 3 and 4. No actual leg length was given so I sent for size 2 hoping they would fit but they’re too long. I’m not allowed to send them back as I’ve opened the packet!!!!!! How else would I have checked the product? Also, the price of this product would suggest that they are of superior quality £25+ and for that price I would have expected a proper flat toe seam rather than the nasty lumpy one that’s on them which digs into the skin making it very uncomfortable. It’s a pity really as they are pretty and could be really nice with a little more thought.”

Dear Kathleen Thank you for your review. I am sorry to hear of your disappointment with the Girardi Lana Wool Hold Ups. You are indeed correct that we do not stock this product in size 1, but as we sell other products from Girardi in size 1, the size guide we have published, relates to our entire Girardi range. All sizing information on our product details is provided by the manufacturer so that you can make your purchase in confidence that your hosiery will fit. We are governed by the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, which prevents us from accepting opened legwear goods which are not faulty. I'm also sorry to hear that you found the toe seam to be uncomfortable. This particular product is over 70% wool. Wool is a very dense yarn and by it's nature, will not have a flat seam when sewn. I do hope this doesn't put you off buying hosiery online in the future, and please be assured that our customer service team are on hand Mon-Fri, 9a,-5pm to answer any queries you may have regarding sizing advice or product information. I can assure you that it was dispatched promptly from our warehouse on 6th October using 48Tracked, as your dispatch email will confirm. “Have not worn them yet. I have found stocking are increasingly difficult to find locally and I am grateful for the super speedy service offered by yourselves.
