Extra work was carried out without my authorisation but UKSM were professional about this and did no charge me. Would have been an Excellent raiting otherwise.

Thank you for your feedback. A letter is sent out to all our customers before we attend your premises to carry out the testing. This letter outlines the work the engineer will carry out on the day and also the charges. In this case the letter must not have been received.I am glad it was rectified immediately for you. Happy with pat testing and the person who did it. The only thing that I have a concern about is we book this appointment in advance and we always get a call to say someone is in the area that day and could we change days etc- with being a preschool we have to plan our days in advance so to rearrange is quite difficult for us.

The engineer who carried out the service was excellent, however the administration department were very abrupt and not particularly informative. One day after the testing was completed I received a phone call asking for my card details so they could settle the account. At this point I had not seen an invoice and had no indication of other payment options. I asked whether it would be possible to receive an invoice before I made a payment and I was told "Fine, I'll email you an invoice now. Goodbye" then she ended the call.

I am very sorry that you had not received your invoice when you were contacted by our administration department as it is company procedure to supply this to the customer as soon as the work is carried out. Our main aim is to provide our customers with their certificate as soon as possible which is why you were contacted for payment so promptly. overall the company did a good service . I was surprised to get a cold call from the office as I did not request to be called . as I was offered a discounted rate and my pat testing was due I agreed to have it done , The engineer who took on the job was polite and professional and the service was carried out in good time ,

The person who came to do the testing was excellent. However, we were chased very quickly for an unpaid invoice when actually no one had sent us one. When I said this, the lady said she would send it again but didn't. I had to ring back to say we still had not received it. A man then sorted it for us and we received it at once and paid it.

Thank you for your feedback regarding our engineer this will be passed on to him. It is very important to us that you receive your certification promptly, we are sorry that you felt you were being chased too quickly for payment. As we have now move to a paperless organisation all invoices are emailed to our clients where possible. On occasion they appear in your spam folder. Positive points: Good service & pleasant engineer visited. Little disruption to operation and very thorough in discovering devices. Swift & hassle free. Negative points: Hit with a bigger than expected bill....much bigger, but this was addressed and adjusted to our satisfaction,so not really negative. However, felt harassed for payment, several emails, letter phone call etc. Little too much pressure for my liking, Totally changed my perception of the service and felt uncomfortable about the way it was dealt with, being in business I accept that it is good to get swift payment and is crucial for business, but still felt like I was harassed. Will consider this before procuring the service again
