“Local planning advised that the map when provided digitally to them was incorrect scale. I sent as a zipped file. I had to use local printers and post to them after several emails causing several weeks delay. Not sure whether this map, compatibility with Apple or planning end but frustrating”

“Ibwas forced into buying a map by the eplanning portal - these guys were one of the options - i resent being forced to spend £25 on a simple a4 location plan - it feels expensive and pointless - no doubt thers feel differently”

“Good service but could be better. If you use the freehand drawing tool to draw the red and blue lines, it can look perfect on screen, but when you get the block plan (after you have paid!), the lines are very thin and gaps can appear.”

“The maps are available to the required scale as per planning stipulations. However, the map is not provided with a scale bar, something the planning department insists on being within the map. The map is provided with North up, which is suitable, but again the planning department requires a North indicator. I found it very difficult to use the online mark up tool, which didn't always snap correctly so I purchased the map without mark up and used a software tool to mark up manually, without too much bother.”

“The website/ordering was great to use from start to finish but the quality of the PDF image ordered was not good, I work in graphics and I expected the PDF maps to be a quality vector file, not a low-resolution picture file. I would have given it 5 stars if the maps had been better quality.”

“Really tricky tools to draw anything but with a bit of practice it worked. Revit it ain’t but did the trick. Easy to download.”

“The maps appear to do the job but I had curved lines involved and found the redliner extremely hard to use, in the end giving up, printing out and adding manually”

“Unfortunately the map I ordered only showed part of our 4 hectare plot the area we need to investigate planning is missing. A lovely lady called Evelyn has been very helpful and is helping to resolve the problem.”

“Just about acceptable with help from the girl on the phone., although I struggled to tell what she was saying due to unclear speech. The first person I spoke to was working from home and he was brilliant but couldn't help me edit my maps. Yes, I did get the call back in a couple of hours. I am elderly and ,although I have been working using computers since the very early days ( 1973) in my career, I found the website very confusing. The instructions on what to do and when to do it are not clear to follow. I watched the video first but felt it all it was saying was 'look it's easy' and it isn't .”

“I did not find it easy. In particular, there was not much flexibility in the sizes for download, it would be nice to be able to have different size formats in this digital age. Also, it would be really useful if you could add online other symbols - like the positions of trees, new outhouses, symbols for the position of features that are going to be part of the application, etc.”

“Had to order 2 maps as the west map did not show the full area we needed even though it did on the sample before we placed the order. A bit confusing. Got sent as a pdf so not sent through post.”

“Found it easy to locate my property and the snap points for drawing my blue and red lines where very easy to do. I have given 3 stars as would of like more options on paper size for a 1:1250 scale”

“Was ok, but my postcode and house number selection didn't produce a map which covered my boundary. I had to pay again and manually adjust the map.”
