“Was not able to choose the block diagram clearly. Ordered JPEG map, but got PDF”

“I telephoned my order through. I found some members of staff very helpful, my first encounter, however others appeared less tolerant of my level of knowledge/ understanding. I appreciate it is very difficult to narrow down small areas on large maps especially when both parties don't necessarily se the same image on their screens. I was advised to receive my maps by email, which came through very quickly, look at it and contact again if I was happy with the maps and then I would be sent the paper versions. When I called back I was advised I would have to pay extra for this as it had not been included in the initial order. I have declined to pay the extra £7.99 for this service when I was informed it would be part of the fees I paid for the maps.”

“Plan was OK, Only issue was two of the boundary's had changed over the years. So the plan wasn't 100% accurate.”

“Very easy up til the point i wanted to draw in my boundaries and didnt get an option/instructions how do do this, so it has now been badly drawn using a screenshot and my phone's photo- editor!”

“Having failed to present an acceptable site and location map for planning purposes from the free web I have ordered from you and after three tries at online gave up and used the phone service. This worked again after some difficulty finding my thousand year old church on the address list. I have the plans sent in and accepted by the planning office but think that the charge for the service is grossly over the top. considering the ease with which I can download and print out”

“The website was easy to use, it was easy to find and order the map I needed however when it arrived, the site plan was not accurate which was alarming. I was able to correct it but had expected it to be accurate.”

“Im surprised these maps are so far out of date I got some 5years ago of anoughther site more up to date .but I have to use yours because council say so. I only hope they are happy. As I have had bother with them”

“Trying to highlight a boundary that is not simple and square is a nightmare. I had to try about six times as joining the link points was too sensitive and ended up with triangles all over the map.!! Grrrrr! The deleting them was again not as simple as you think for one time users. PLEASE Allow a large zoom to enable this easier.”

“The end product is fine getting there was a like a nightmare, the drawing tools offered to outline your plot and buildings can only be described as abysmal.”

“Easy to purchase without too much unnecessary “registration” which always irritates. The quality is fine for most purposes but when printed out on A4 the scale is not exactly 1:500 which is what I wanted. You can get round this by using the scale printed on the map, but since A4 is a standard size I would have thought it should be relatively easy to get the scale much more accurate.”

“I was disappointed that only 2 scales were available. Also, the scale I chose (1:1259) did not show all the area I needed. When I printed out the map it was confined to a square in the middle of an A4 sheet leaving a large area of white paper, it would have been helpful if the map covered a larger area to show landmarks such as the street. The area I wanted covered could easily have been accommodated on an A4 sheet. I spent a lot of time trying to copy the map to another format, Word refused to align the map even with all margins removed. Adobe Photoshop had a problem printing the map to the correct size, I even tried Excel. Finally I saved the Photoshop image as a .jpeg for insertion into my PDF Converter programme. I know the file was uploaded in PDF but the PDF Converter would not accept it, thus the circular route.”

“A bit fiddly to draw the outlines on the map and not possible to overlay existing drawings to guide the process. Lost the whole outline once by clicking on the wrong bit.”
