“The police told me that the drug test I bought were no good as evidence when I tested my coffee at work and it came back positive because they were bought online. So as good as the service was and as well as the test worked actually they are pointless for anything official including work place testing.”

Hello Matthew and thank you for the feedback. The drug test kit that you bought is a screening test. For it to be used as evidence by the police you would need a laboratory drug test, which you would probably need to organise through the police, if you believe that someone is adding drugs to your coffee. We do stock lab tests for urine and saliva which are used to confirm any positives on workplace drug tests. I'm not sure if our lab would be able to test your coffee, but if you would like us to we can look into this for you. “Bought the surface tester which looked for the presence of 8 potential substances. Swabbed an object which had visible residue and the results were negative for all substances. I later found out that the object had definitely been used for administration of one of the substances that was being tested for. I had followed all instructions exactly so was very disappointed to find that the test had failed. Would not recommend unfortunately.”

Just make sure that you are reading the results correctly as it can be easy to misinterpret the results. Two lines (C and T) on the drug test are a negative result (ie no drugs detected ) even if the lines are faint, and if you see only one line (the C Line) and no visible T line this is a positive result (ie drug metabolites detected). Make sure that you are reading the test result at the correct time. Dear Mrs Pollard, we are very sorry to hear that the saliva drug test kits did not work for you. Just want to make sure you are reading the results correctly. Two lines (C and T) on the drug test are a negative result (ie no drugs detected ) even if the lines are faint and if you see only one line (the C Line) this is a positive result (ie drug metabolites detected) If you had no lines appear this is an invalid result and is usually do to an inadequate saliva sample being added to the drug test kit.
