About U Drive Cover:

U Drive Cover Limited is an independent insurance intermediary wholly owned by a senior management team with over 50 years experience in the non-standard insurance market covering motor, commercial vehicle, fleet, household and motorcycle.

We welcome enquiries from customers with an accident or motoring conviction history as well as modified vehicles. We can offer up to 65% discount for ex company car drivers with an accident-free history or for households where there is more than one car. We also offer cover for any car from a Mini to a Ferrari and for all ages from 17 to 99.

U Drive Cover Limited was formed to offer customers a personal approach. We treat each customer as an individual and offer an excellent service. Coupled with our excellent relationships with major Insurers, this enables us to offer competitive premiums as well as the personal touch. For the convenience of customers we do offer online quotations and the opportunity to purchase online but we also feel that we can make a difference by listening to the customer’s individual needs.

The U Drive Cover Limited offices are based In the UK and are manned by staff that have many years’ experience in providing these products. We do encourage existing and new customers to call us as there are many rating factors that can influence car insurance premiums and we welcome the opportunity to listen to your needs. Our aim is to prove that excellent service does not mean that you have to pay higher premiums.

“Very rude I Insured from 2 years now they said sory we can’t give you policy beacuse yu had accident then whts insurance for we paying money aswel but not not money them money worth it or one just money”

“Awful company to deal with. Said they had a van then after I paid said they hadn't but as preauthorized my card for a whole month I have to wait for it and no trying to sort out with their incompetent staff who quite literally know nothing about their own systems will resolve the problem. Made it my duty to post on every single review site there is. Do not use unless you can afford them ripping you off!!!”

“absolute amateurs. ask for same information over and over. and even when provided they dispute it. paid for the year upfront and they have threatened to cancel twice asking for info they already have. worst thing i ever did was getting insurance through these people. if they are your cheapest quote, pay a bit more to avoid them.”

“hi just buy this insunrance company online because they are not happy if my details they toke me 300 pounds from my account they told me they going to chage my 140 and rest of they came back up 30 days !!! this company have no respect to people at all dont buy nothing from them”

“I think that the quote given by U Drive is both extortionate, and fraudulent, purely because I have a TT99 endorsement on my licence. Showing a 6 month ban for accumulated speeding points, which finished in April this year. I have already been punished for these speeding offences, and lost in the region of £65,000 wages during the ban. Why should I have to tolerate further punishments, ie; high insurance, until the endorsement is removed in 2025?”

“Don't trust them when they say they will issue a refund. They will hold on to you money fore over 30 days and then send you emails to say you have to wait longer after the 30days even though you get given a cast iron guarantee that they will refund you by that date which is (30days plus another potential week to show up on your bank)”

“Tried to charge me £125 cancellation. my policy doesn't even start for another two weeks! increased their initial quote by £400 and said as i paid the initial amount already that i could have 3-4 months to pay this. When i challenged and said cancel the policy she says there is a cancellation poilcy of £125. After arguing about 14 day cooling off period she backed down. Very rude (Kiranjeet Kaur) shame on you and company you work for.”

“ITS A SCAM : Worst insurance company I’ve been with in the last 20 years, customer services is terrible. Took my deposit and quoted a price via a comparison website. Had to call them for verification and they put the price up. The girl on the phone made fun of me because I didn’t know if you don’t use your no claim bonus they expire.”

“The customer service to begin with was pretty poor. Having to send the same documents over and over to different people. The price was last year good, but then to make changes to a number plate the admin price was extortionate. The renewal price came back almost £1000 more than the cheapest I have found. And when I went to change my car over during the policy. Most other insurers had a cheaper offer as the new car was cheaper to insure, however udrive charged me more to insure this car.”

“Completed all the details online, never received any paper work (even though I had paid in full),so had to call them a couple of days later to chase it up, they said "I have to confirm all the details I had already filled in online again on the phone as standard to start the policy" What was the point in filling it in online then, I might of well just called! I had clicked the car was owned by mistake when it was a lease car, they called to say they are refusing to insure me with that particular insurer due to the mistake, but can insure me with another provider for an extra £50. I said no I will cancel then as I am in my cooling off period, was told if I cancel during the cooling off period I will be charged £120!!! So basically they said I was stuck between either paying £50 to stay with them or £120 to get out in a cooling off period! The lady was rude to me on the phone, I will be speaking to the Financial Ombudsman about this. Not happy with how I was treated during this process and the call being backed into a corner.”

“DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! SCAM ALERT!! They took £268 deposit off me, then canceled policy without telling me. I was stopped by police and when we contacted them they would not honor policy!! I'm now facing 6 points and a fine, have no insurance, and they holding on to my refund for 3 weeks and that's if I ever get it!! Oh and they deducting £75 cancelation fee!!! They hang up on me when I ring, and don't reply to emails!!! ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS COMPANY WHO ROB YOU THEN LEAVE YOU HIGH AND DRY!!! THEY WILL BE REPORTED TRUST ME”
