About U Drive Cover:

U Drive Cover Limited is an independent insurance intermediary wholly owned by a senior management team with over 50 years experience in the non-standard insurance market covering motor, commercial vehicle, fleet, household and motorcycle.

We welcome enquiries from customers with an accident or motoring conviction history as well as modified vehicles. We can offer up to 65% discount for ex company car drivers with an accident-free history or for households where there is more than one car. We also offer cover for any car from a Mini to a Ferrari and for all ages from 17 to 99.

U Drive Cover Limited was formed to offer customers a personal approach. We treat each customer as an individual and offer an excellent service. Coupled with our excellent relationships with major Insurers, this enables us to offer competitive premiums as well as the personal touch. For the convenience of customers we do offer online quotations and the opportunity to purchase online but we also feel that we can make a difference by listening to the customer’s individual needs.

The U Drive Cover Limited offices are based In the UK and are manned by staff that have many years’ experience in providing these products. We do encourage existing and new customers to call us as there are many rating factors that can influence car insurance premiums and we welcome the opportunity to listen to your needs. Our aim is to prove that excellent service does not mean that you have to pay higher premiums.

“Rude no claims I thought was 4 years when it was 7 saying dispute with previous insurance which is bs and charging me £481 25 extra on policy when imo it should be lower not higher Am I even legally insured if theres a dispute ? I know if i havent got correct info its cancelled Massive red flag 🚩 stay away dont get ripped off”

“SIMPLY PUT, STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY U DRIVE COVER. I paid for the insurance deposit £289, they called me for validation, 1 day later they say that the underwriter did not want to insure me, but they could offer another insurance for £ 3,500 or so. I said no and they hit me with the surprise cancellation fee of £149. Mind you, I did not receive any insurance related documents whatsoever, my car was never insured with them AT ALL. SO I AM NOW FILING A SMALL CLAIM AGAINST THEM AND i will report them to every entity responsible for dealing with SCAMMERS. PLEASE WAIT FOR MY LETTER BEFORE CLAIM, THOSE £149 YOU SCAMMED FROM ME , YOU WILL NEED THEM IN LEGAL FEES BERX548”

“Was not expecting a call asking me to pay an extra £400 for something I shouldn’t have been held accountable for. After having spoken to a not so helpful person who just offered a passive apology repeatedly, I finally got a hold of someone who listened to matter at hand and actually did something about it. Sasha, you are a credit to your business and people should be getting tips on customer service from you. From being on the verge of cancelling a new policy you’ve made this new customer very happy. Thank you!!!”

“Seemed very helpful on hiring a car, returned the car early and advised I would get two days hire fee back. it seems that is not quite true, I hired the car for a week, I wasn't advised that they would reduce it to a three or five day charge depending on the return, so only got just over £12 back on returning the car two days early. I don't usually use UDrive, and probably wont again, as it was never made clear that you actually don't get the two days hire back, it was not stated on the paper work or verbally. so a very expensive week, with a garage bill, car hire, would have been cheaper to not go to work for a week and not be paid. A very disappointing outcome.”

“Honest mistake made by the insurance company but it was rectified in a fantastic way by Charlotte Howell. Charlotte did exactly what she said she would and came back to me with the correct outcome. The politeness and understanding from Charlotte was second to none and she was an absolute pleasure to deal with at such a stressful time for myself. Hats off to you Charlotte your a credit to their business.”

“Absolutely the worst insurance company I've ever had the displeasure to speak with. I bought the insurance through top cash back. But after buying and receiving a cleverly worded email giving them permission to add charges for every little discrepancy, I read the reviews. They tried to add £125 of charges for having the date of a non fault crash wrong by a single day. I bought the insurance on Saturday, tried to cancel first thing Sunday morning but was told not to and to wait for the total fee before deciding, they gaurenteed I would be given this within 90 minutes. They called the next day to say if I now cancel I will also have to pay the admin costs for the changes plus the cancellation fee as they had changed the policy already. I advised I would take this to the financial ombudsmen. They redcuded the fee to £75. STILL FEEL ROBBED BY THESE CON ARTISTS. I asked them why they have such bad reviews all saying the same thing and they advised these are just unhappy customers.”

“Awful experience the lady on the phone was extremely rude to the point I cancelled the insurance. I would rather loose my deposit and pay a fee than be a customer to a company like this. Definitely avoid. They take your money and then demand more after the agreement, then tell you your not actually insured. I was driving around all weekend with children unaware that they stoped insurance until I paid more. I was left with no insurance and needed to take my children to school the next day. complete disgrace and Im still waiting for a refund for some of the money back. I had to pay to cancel even though it was in the 14 day cooling off”

“Changed my address and they would not give me a reviewed quote on my policy so i found a cheaper one and now they want over 700 pounds for the cancellation. I'm gonna have to take them to court on this. STAY AWAY”
