Been trying to call for 2 days to speak to someone about adding a travel cot & no one picking up & no answering machine to leave a message for a call back.

I have stayed with Travelodge Glasgow Queen Street for 6 years now when I have visited Glasgow in the past and found them very good value, but I have found their price increases incredibly high and totally unjustified now.

I'd selected twin room but after I paid the booking showed as a double room. I had to pay an email extra £10 less than 5 minutes after the confirmation email to change to a twin room.

I've booked a stay for 5 days, got my booking conformation. And now inundated with prompts to book! And at least 3 emails from travellodge a day... its getting tiring now tbh

Huge room with one bed, a couple of chairs and a table fixed to the wall. No attempt to make it comfortable. Huge pretence of cheap rates but they never are. Staff are excellent and it seems to be the usual case of lions led by donkeys. I have no respect for Travelodge Management. Rooms only fit for one or two night stays on your way to somewhere. Any more than that and it's not a pleasant experience. I remember when it was run by a proper company -Forte. Now Travelodge is a pale shadow of what it was.

Online booking site crashed as I was trying to pay. After second successful attempt I found that the booking fee had been taken out of my account twice. After ringing the helpline I was told there was nothing they could do about it and to ring my bank. A very poor booking experience.

Room far too hot and no way to cool down. Fan just moved the air around. Whole decor looking very tired.

Location good. Housekeeping was totally inadequate,shower not cleaned when we arrived and never cleaned during our four night stay.Carpet at doorway very dirty and room was never vacuumed while we were there. Fortunately York was a fantastic city to visit and we did not spend a great deal of time in the room

Look at a hotel online, nothing more than look, and you get bombarded with emails about it every day! Give it a rest will you - I know the place exists I just looked at it.

Very disappointed, five minutes after placing the booking, I called to say I had made a mistake which I noticed on the printout. I was charged a fee just to change the date and the cost of the room was double We have used this hotel many times and never had a problem before with the hotel or indeed any other time when using Travelodge. I feel that I have been let down by your admin department, where I felt the lady that dealt with my issue was a little curt, perhaps I should have dealt with the hotel direct.

Price was fantastic however a simple mistake.from myself cost me losing out I planned for another nights visit at a fantastic price for the dates to change and muggins here didn't realise and booked.. however I stupidly pressed none.refundable and when tried to change dates the charges where so much more which is where I was left in tears.. I have adhd and can impulsively do things and I clearly didn't read my mistake but to have everything cost me so much more left ne extremly stressed out of pocket and anxious... I know had guidelines but people like me sometimes need xtra support happily to change dates but why so much more of a charge ... I couldn't do it 🥴 whoever mistake it left me down hearted and deflated... drained also.. I wasn't allowed a refund because I stupidly thought dates where correct the system changed them automatically I want to cry... my own self cost me cuz I struggle to slow down ...

We have stayed here a few times over the years, and it has gone downhill I’m afraid. None of the lights in the room worked, the pillow case was dirty, the carpet was badly stained. We had an elephant in the room above us I believe. It’s a shame it’s gone down hill as it was always our go to hotel for a quick overnight stay. The staff were 5* though, especially Alison in the breakfast room. She was a ray of sunshine.

The prices have gone up by 50% since last year, I know it’s a bad time at the moment but there is no justification putting up rates by 50%

The last 2 times we have stayed 2 nights and on both occasions we had reason to complain. The first time there was no soap in the bathroom and the toilet would not flush. The coffee and milk situation is a joke. On the second occasion the toilet was discusting which had not been cleaned and the hand towel had brown stains all over it. The excuse given was that new staff were being trained. Tea and coffee the same.

Struggled to get keycard to work. Reception staff really rude and finally believed that it was faulty, grudgingly. I'd had a difficult day and that interaction was the last straw. I ended up in tears. Unfortunately I will have to stay there on a regular basis because of the location but I am not looking forward to it. And your weekend rates are way too high for the quality of experience on offer.

So easy to book online BUT it wasn’t a great experience. The beds were never made, on one day no room service was provided even though a card was on the door. No ventilation except having the windows open. It wasn’t cheap neither over £440.00 for 4 nights
