My last stay only rated 1 star and I'm hoping the next will be better. I'm disappointed that I couldn't add any notes when I booked to avoid a repeat of the issues I had during my previous stay.

Basic elements such as breakfast not included in ro cost? Price pee person, why not just per room

All ok until adding a meal. I booked two nights but only wanted an evening meal on 1 of the nights. Your booking system kept booking 2 meals. Had to phone you up which was more expense.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. However, the air conditioning in my room had a very high pitch whine. I had to turn it off as it could not be fixed. If it had been a hot night this would have made the room very uncomfortable.

Lighting very poor over desk ,had to buy a desk lamp as reception had no such thing . Also having to pay for car park .

Booked through the Blue Light Card website for discount however the discount was only on certain hotels/dates which was not made clear until I added the code. Surpise, surprise no discount on hotel/dates I wanted to stay.

Upon arrival, the manager at reception was in such a hurry to be done with me that she forgot to be welcoming and approachable. So much so that when I got to the room I realised that I never received the password for the WiFi. I called reception from my mobile 3 times and every time I was eventually cut off because there was just no answer. Realising that I needed loo paper as well, I took the lift back down to get both the password and extra loo paper. This time there was a much more approachable receptionist to help. Housekeeping was amazing. I wish I asked the lady her name so that she could receive a personal thank-you very much! The children screaming downstairs in the courtyard below (all day and way into the evening) was a terrible distraction as their high-pitched screams echoed right up to the 7th floor. Because of this, I will book with Travelodge again but just not at this location.

I found the room options difficult to find Ended up with a basic twin room Discount voucher would not apply Had to use PayPal as payment method not available Overall a very poorly designed app

Eventually was able to book our requirements. After numerous attempts over several days the payment page finally loaded and everything went through with no problem. Frustrating but all well now.

I booked last night on the saver rate and this morning the same booking was cheaper! I can’t rebook at this cheaper rate because my more expensive rate is non refundable.

No hand soap and the aircon wasn't working (though it still made a noise fooling you that it was doing something!) so it was an uncomfortably hot nights sleep. Good location though!

The process of booking was easy but when it came to paying the system kept telling me that I had inputted my details wrongly, I had not. It would not take a card payment so I had to pay via PayPal, which was not what I wanted.

Unfortunately the place was loud, tight, the rooms are not properly done (no one told us, that they will just empty the bin, exchange the coffee cups (what they didn't) and might change the towels. The lavabo was blocked (which MUST have been noticed), the water tap was dripping.

The payment process was difficult. I eventually had to use paypal which I normally do not on order to book. I do not know ehy direct payment through a card was always declined.

Unable to access e mail had to phone. Cost me £2.50 booking fee which was not my fault. It was your system that was at fault

Bit disappointed in customer service. Three visits to reception to get a card to work to access staircase. Third time another receptionist dealt with me told me it had expired. Yes I'd not been here over an hour!!; Told all info I need about stay would be found in my room. It's not!!! It's part of the card that comes with the card to access your room
