“Very good quality, fittings are simple and each shelf has it's own characteristics. Instructions are helpful, but a template might have been more useful.”

“After receiving our first order from the company (shelves for our kitchen) we decided to place another order with them - this time an oak fascia beam - and as with the first order we are delighted with the item. The quality is good and the service from Traditional Beams was excellent again.”

“I have had 'moments' buying things online, often they look nothing like the thing I thought I had bought or the quality was a bit 'Meh' but I'm so happy with the Oak Mantle that arrived yesterday and is now on the wall. It's beautiful and more than I'd hoped for. A suggestion to people fitting one, make a template of the back of the whole beam marking where the pre drilled holes are. I did this, measured three times etc and the beam slipped onto the mounts a treat. Well done.”

“Purchased 3 Rustic Oak Floating Shelf *Aged* and found them to be an almost perfect match for my existing Oak beam purchased elsewhere. The instructions to fit were clear and concise, the fitting brackets were very useful for levelling up (old house, old plaster are no friend to drilling accurately!). The shelves themselves are nice and chunky, they look great.”

“We bought an oak fireplace beam with a walnut stain. It arrived packaged to perfection and safe, the wood has so much character and the instructions with it on how to install and care for the wood brilliant! Cannot fault this and have recommended to our builder and a couple of pals. We will be buying a shelf next and another fireplace beam. What a great Yorkshire business”

“You get what you pay for with this high quality product. I ordered my air dried oak floating shelf to attach to a plasterboard wall. The 4’ long shelf was quite weighty, being solid oak, but the fixings were substantial & great quality & did the job perfectly. My queries about a broken wall plug & what seemed initially to be loose brackets (perfect when attached to the wall!) were dealt with quickly & staff were very helpful. Great choice of colours & it matched my oak dresser perfectly. Would highly recommend this product.”
