“We ordered a 4ft oak shelf. The timber was good quality, no twists or shakes, almost knot free, accurately cut to size and waxed to the colour we wanted. The wall fixing method was somewhat unusual; 3 substantial stainless steel rods which had to be screwed into the wall and slid into pre-drilled holes in the timber to create a cantilevered floating shelf. All component parts were supplied. As long as you accurately drill the wall holes (working off marks on the timber) this creates a surprisingly sftong and firm fixing. No glue required. I had not expected fitting to be so simple. Very pleased, we will definitely use Trad Beams again.”
