“Delivery was prompt and well packaged and no problem with the seller, however the paint wasn't what I expected, I thought the anti slip paint would have a rough 'sandpaper' finish instead it's more like a glossy top coat you find in sports halls.”

“I ordered the Dulux Trade Weathershield preserve primer basad on the fact you are selling as a solvent based product. I received my order today, 30/09/2014 to find that I have been sent the water based version !! I can purchase this version frommy local supplier but not the solvent based version. I wanted the solvent product because I think the water based version is in my opinion along with other trade people I have spoken with an awful product to use. Malcolm Jackson. 07956 591251”

“First time I have purchased paint online, however the price difference was enough to do it. I had good communication with TOOLS-PAINT, however they slipped on delivery and I had to chase (only a day behind) but I had stayed in all day so disappointing. There was free delivery with this order due to the spend amount, glad I never paid for delivery. If you are ordering paint make sure you check all the containers as they do get bashed about by courier. Overall I would use TOOLS-PAINT again....”

“Ordered 2 5 litre tins of deck stain and 1 2.5 litre Dulux Kitchen+ emulsion. Both items at very competitive price. Especially the decking stain which was aboout 8 pounds cheaper per 5l than the major DIY stores. Delivery was vey good except that only 1 5l of decking stain was initially delivered. This was subsequently deliverd the next day after a phone call and speaking to a very helpful lady. The emulsion paint was comparable in price which I noticed was colour mixed. I found the paint particularly thick to apply. The colour was quite different from the Dulux colour chart and was a shade darker than the extra I needed that I bought locally. This may be due to the variation in colour mixing. All in all I was reasonably happy with my first purchase from this company.”

“order 10302/010614/26 I was generally impressed with the speedy delivery on my order, however, when my order arrived I only received 1 of 2 items that I had purchased. I called to let you know and you despatched my 2nd tin of paint the next day, but this time you send me the wrong paint. I called a second time and again you speedily sent out the correct item. I would have given full stars but I have given 4 - due to correcting the errors swiftly and politely.”
