“I DID NOT HAVE A PROBLEM WITH TOOLED UP,BUT I DID WITH DHL,THEY DID NOT DELIVER ON THE DAY STATED NOR DID THEY DELIVER ON THE NEXT DAY,ONLY WHEN I CONTACTED TOOLED UP DID THEY DELIVER ON THE FOLLOWING DAY.THIS MEANT STAYING AT HOME FOR 3 DAYS,NOT GOOD.I WILL THINK TWICE ABOUT ORDERING ITEMS FROM TOOLED UP IN THE FUTURE.”

“After ordering a Hot pressure washer, called the company to talk about solutions as I thing that the pressure washer won't be good for what I need. Promised me a call back but never happened. Maybe someone will call me this upcoming week.”

“This review reflects comments I have made to Sales via email. After placing my order and not having any notification of shipping after 4 days (3 working days as the order was placed over the weekend) I decided to use the tracking link included in the confirmation of order email. This required me to create an account as I'd placed the order as a guest. When I tried to create the account a message popped up that my email address was already in use. I contacted Sales via email querying this and requesting an order update. In the meantime as my address was apparently already on the system I decided to try logging in and then using the 'Forgot password' link to allow me to generate a password. This proved successful, allowing me to log into my new account. It then occurred to me that the email address was probably on the system because I had entered it as part of the billing information. This was subsequently confirmed by Sales. I quote: "When placing an order as a guest, your email address is stored against the order for communication and confirmation purposes. In some cases, this can result in an account being created automatically with your email address, but without full details such as telephone number or address". I have pointed out that this is something that is likely to happen to other customers and the sales system needs to be amended to prevent it. It may be coincidence but it seemed that my intervention spurred Sales into action because the next day I received notifications of picking, packing and despatch in quick succession and the goods arrived the following day. Sales always responded promptly to my emails, even offering to update my details in the new account, and I am more than satisfied with my purchase.”

“I have a large box full of Bosch hole cutters but for my current project I needed a 48mm one - which I didn't have. Tooled-up had one in stock which arrived on time and the job was completed (boring a hole in 18mm steel plate). One can necver have enough tools and it is nice to find a supplier who can fill-in the blanks when necessary. Thank you.”

“No complaints about website, order, process, choice, goods, price, speed of delivery. ... It would otherwise be a five star rating. ... but you sent me about 6/7/8 eMails - "confirmed ... "Thank You ... "we're really happy ... "dispatch ... "out for lunch ... "the weather ... "lunch is ready ... "sleep well ... I JEST; but they are way over the top - way more than necessary. Do you really think you have to work that hard to keep people happy? It was one small order for a few non-urgent items. Or do you think that I am THAT impatient? Received - Despatched - Thank You .. that's quite enough. Happy.”

“Ordered Dewalt battery charger on the Monday delivered on Tuesday, can't ask for better than that but, it was advertised as boxed and unopened which it wasn't, just in a brown cardboard package. It works ok, looks new but a bit worrying when not sold as advertised. Hence only four stars.”

“Item arrived late. Email from DHL informed me the packaging was damaged. Outside packaging was OK when delivered, however internal support packaging was badly damaged. Item probably moved around in the box as not properly secured. Fortunateley the item itself was not damaged. The item seemed to have been in stock for a long period as it was quite dusty.”

“The window thermometer is very neat and simple to fit. Tje packaging was excellent I give only 4 stars because it is very small. I didn't check any dimensions before I ordrred sadly. As I have a deteriorating eye sight problem I have great difficulty reading it but my husband can see it fairly well. For a good sighted person it is fine.”

“The overall design is good. What i would suggest is a metal tube in the centre to prevent any hose pinches. Also the ability for the metal reel itself to be able to fully swing to the left when placed upon a side wall thus allowing the user to have easy hose release when working around a property.”
