“The true mark of a good Online Company is not how easy it is to order items from their website and deliver them quickly, that is the bread and butter of online trading. No, the true mark of an Online Company is how well they behave and deal with a product they supply that dies after only 3 months. Tooled-Up wash their hands of it entirely, they refuse to repair, replace or refund, contrary to the Consumer Laws of the UK. Amazon get a lot of stick from some, but when a product they supply goes wrong, they sort it. Tooled-Up don’t care, they have your money, and you have your broken item and have to try to deal with it yourself direct with the manufacturer. Totally illegal, but they don’t care.”

“Tried to buy from this company on there Ebay account there. Total disaster from start to finish an afraid to say ,had to open up a case on Ebay there, to get my money back for the item there I purchased over 6 days ago !!! .they claimed that they had posted out,when in reality they never ever did in the first place there . If you know the story of pinocchio and his ways and you like how he works there ,then indeed you will both appreciate and get on famously with them . However there, I don't and indeed will not be using or buying from them ever again there. For myself they are a Ebay D.N.B seller ... stay well clear end of there.”

“Order did NOT turn up on the day I paid extra postage for and was going to take 4 more days, due to DHL who was your choice !!!!!!!!. Your customer service person was so RUDE and just put the phone down on my call, so after calling back and speaking to a guy who was more helpful because you could NOT get my order to me before the end of the week and with more days in between the DHL set date I cancelled my order BUT I am STILL getting email's from you asking if I am happy with my order. I DID NOT get it when it was due on the day I paid to have it so NO I am NOT happy and WOULD NOT order ever again !!!!!!!!!!!”

“Bought new enhell cordless paint sprayer and tried to paint my garden fence with if but not suitable for fence paint. So I returned it to them. But they wouldn't give me a refund and now I am left a tool, that is no good to me. Very disappointed with tooled up.”

“Delivery was horrendous. The item was ordered on the 7th July and arrived on the 20th July. Royal Mail stating 48 hours is an absolute lie. It was showing as being held in the local mail centre from the 16th July. Think you need to think again using the Royal Mail.”

“The expensive product I bought from you was faulty , arrived in a package that appears to have been opened before it left your despatch and was faulty .. very poor service. I managed to buy two blades for the same price from power tool so I’m awaiting a refund!!!”

“Worst website I have ever purchashed from. Errors everywhere, not mobile friendly, no tracking number supplied just some irrelevant number that doesn’t work. Then find out the machine I bought is full of water and clearly used! Probably someone elses faulty return. Awful experience”

“Nightmare! Order as a next day delivery item ,after 4 days I call to find out where the vacuum was as only the batteries arrived they forgot to send the vacuum , after lots of phone calls and them telling me " I promise will arrive today" the vacuum arrived 10 days after I originally order it , very rude customer service ,they wanted to be right when they wrong, no apologies , better buying on local store.”

“I bought a Hozelock sprayer and weed killer cone which the website said were compatible but were not. Checked with Hozelock who said I needed a different nozzle. Tooledup wanted me to return the sprayer and cone which would cost me more than the nozzle from Hozelock. I suggested they supply the nozzle but they refused as they didn’t stock it.”

“When I ordered my purchase I requested that it wasn’t delivered on the proposed date but the day after or onwards. The following morning I sent another email saying the same as I hadn’t received any reply. I was asked for an order number so assumed all done. I did receive annoyingly over a dozen emails telling me the various stages of the order, and surprise surprise the order arrived on the day I said I didn’t want it. I contacted yourselves after the delivery to be told that I should have cancelled my order and re do it if I wanted a different day for delivery. I wasn’t given that option on the previous correspondence.Its all very simple but you couldn’t do it. Very disappointed”

“Do not use. Faulty item sent out, clearly a returned item. Even has a picking not in the box stating “trigger fail intermittent “. They still will not offer a replacement only a refund which will take 14 days. I have used them in the past but will be unlikely to use them again due to the poor service.”

“Just a dreadful experience dealing with you. After delays you sent me the wrong part. It is being returned today. You never had or are getting the part o actually ordered though it remained on your web site. A complete waste of time. I hope the refund is forthcoming promptly. Will never deal with you again. An appaling experience.”
