Pity you can't give them no stars. I wish I had read these reviews before I ordered. Nearly 4 weeks for an item that was 'in stock' to be delivered. Needed it the next day as the website said. Customer service is an absolute joke. No replies to emails and you can't phone them. Apparently Covid-19 means they can take your money and rip you off and blame it on that. Now I've seen all these reviews I'm going to complain to my Trading Standards

Terrible customer service. They are a scam in my opinion, you order and pay then they never send the item never dispatch dont reply to messages had to make a complaint through ebay to eventually get my money back. Do not buy from them.

No updates on my order a week later, they were quick to take my money though. I have asked to cancel the order and get a refund. I can get my item quicker and for the same price on Amazon.

I placed an order last weekend for an item in stock. I get the delay with the current situation. You have sent a confirmation email and there will be a day or two delay. A week later nothing. I have rung and sent an email. You have failed to respond. I feel ignored as a customer and if I could take my valued custom elsewhere ‘I would’.

Ordered a rake from tooled-up at the start of April which finally turned up unannounced over a month later. This is despite repeatedly chasing the order via email, phone and their website, then finally cancelling via their site at the start of May and filing a PayPal dispute due to their complete refusal to communicate. The only reason I haven't sent it back is that trying to get a refund out of them would be like pulling teeth. I appreciate the current situation is making it difficult for businesses, but a simple message to explain the situation wouldn't have been onerous.

Purchased two items on 22/04/2020 was aware of delays due to covid. Items advertised as in stock purchase today by 9AM despatched same day. Following purchase recieved email confirmation. Week later recieved email stating delay due to covid, states can cancel anytime if item has not been despatched. One item missing from order, phone lines closed so emailed seller, no response. Recieved email few days stating my item will be despatched in 10/08/2020 as not in stock, other item still not showing, chased up for update on other item and requested order cancellation. No response to email. Used site form to cancel, recieved response cannot cancel as system marks item despatched, can return once received but delivery cost on you, no update on second item, paypal payment taken at this point. Finally replied on other item, no clear cut answer just blaming courier service, very sarcastic arrogant response, no tracking provided, went on their site again both items being advertised as in stock and purchase by 9AM despatch same day, took screenshots of this and email responses and raised case with paypal for refund, no response by tooled up to paypal case, on day(today) of escalation for review... recieved full order, not tested products yet but the communication from these guys is terrible, would not recomend the hassle over high value items best to pay that extra for piece of mind from reputable firms as adding the delivery costs with item purchase it is not significantly cheaper and then added headache of back and forth I mean your order tools for projects your doing not for quarter of the year later.

Contacted to cancel the order the day after I made it. Order was confirmed 9 days later. Contacted again. Item arrived a few days later. Not going to bother trying to get a refund. Have not had any reply from customer service at all. Very poor.

Ordered an item and 3 weeks later still no dispatch. Customer services responded to my first chaser saying the item “had been allocated from our stock” but I’m now pretty certain that was a lie. Of course they’re now not responding. I now also see similar complaints on trust pilot and here of people ordering items that it turned out were not in stock. Steer clear of these guys

I ordered some hozelock items in April, there was no suggestion that there would be delays and subsequently I received an email stating that there was a delay until August. Despite numerous emails requesting further explanation and giving my telephone number (as their telephone only contains a message stating that they are not taking incoming calls due to covid) they have not replied and I have therefore had to send an email requesting cancellation of the order... how disappointing !!

Had nothing but trouble from start to finish. Took money out of my account, then put it back. So I bought elsewhere. They then took the money again, 2 weeks later. Asked them by email to cancel and refund. They did neither and totally ignored me. Phoned up, you can't talk to a human because of this covid thing ???? Surely that is the way to communicate. Returned unwanted item. Still waiting for refund. PayPal now involved. If no joy, it will be a chargeback and failing that, I'll see them in court. Absolute joke of a company. Now saying they haven't received the returned item, so add fraudulent to my list of complaints about this very dodgy company. WOULD ADVISE YOU ALL TO AVOID AT ALL COSTS 😡😡😡

Still waiting for product after ten days. No reply from seller despite email etc. Website says delays on delivery due to covid19. I would suggest delays are due to accepting too many orders. If you can’t deliver in the agreed time due to too much workload then you should stop taking orders until the backlog is cleared. The tracking info is useless. The link directs you to the website then dumps you. I have received no notifications of delivery etc. They were quick enough to take the money

I had the same problems that others have experienced. I cancelled my order 24 hours after placing it due to excessive delivery estimate for an item that was allegedly in stock. I cancelled the order using the Tooled-Up.com web site as per their instructions. They decided to ignore it. They also removed the pending payment from my PayPal account so it looked as though the cancellation had been done. 12 days later they took the money and when I contacted them, within minutes they emailed back to say it was too late to cancel as item had already been dispatched. (Obviously they are selective as to which correspondence they read and respond to!) The goods had not been dispatched at all. 19 hours later they sent a further email to say the item was only then being 'prepared' for dispatch. The item has been delivered today. 18 days for delivery of an in-stock item? I am not going to return it because firstly it means paying additional postage costs and secondly, I have no confidence that I would ever see my money returned. I would add that at no time, even today, has my order ever appeared on my customer account and it is clear they only reply to emails when it suits them. I will never order anything from this supplier and would recommend others find a more professional company who actually values their customers.

I waited weeks for my saw to be despatched, only for it to be lost in transit. Whilst I appreciate things are taking longer at the moment, the fact is that no one returns my emails and I can't get through on the phone. Communications are terrible, It really needs to be improved and fast.

Firstly, I have to say that I wouldn't give them one star. Poor customer service and failure to respond to my emails. When an issue occurred with my order they didn't respond and even when being told of the issue no assistance was offered. I will not use them again or recommend them. Even in these difficult times there are companies rising to the challenge. Not this one.

Firstly, I wouldn't give them one star but you can't. Poor customer service with no response to my emails when an issue occurred. No offer of help or opportunity to resolve. Will never use them again or recommend them, even in these difficult times, other companies have responded to the challenge.

Interesting that the reviews on the Tooled UP site are very positive which surprised me as I've had awful service. Then I came to the review site and saw all the negative reviews and realised it's not just me! Been waiting over 3 weeks. Terrible communication. No idea when my item will be delivered.

Avoid avoid avoid. Will not respond to emails, have blocked all telephone calls because of COVID-19 yet all other companies have managed to respond. Have cancelled and order twice now as has taken more than 3 weeks to be processed. Despite sending 2 emails to cancel I have now had a confirmation email to say the order is now being processed and cannot be cancelled. If they cannot carry out basic customer service then they should not be operating. End of.
