“Absolutely 1st class service, product knowledge by telephone, and delivery! Purchased ledlenser H7R for Xmas present so cant comment on product yet. However, so very pleased at excellent service from small family business. Delivered NEXT DAY, as stated which is unknown in current times. Thank you so much !!”

“Astonishingly fast delivery, given the state of the delivery market. Cracking price on the Dremel kit, well packaged. Not tried the tool yet (it's a present) but given of the service so far, I'm sure it will live up to the reviews it's had. We'll done Alan Wadkins, I intend buying again.”

“I bought a Dremel multitool. I had planned to buy this at my local Screwfix, but they were out of stock. So I looked for it elsewhere and actually found it cheaper at Alan Wadkins. The online data did not show the dimensions of the box or the weight of this kit, but since I was planning to take it for my son in Australia I telephoned their office to see if they could help. The Salesman very kindly took the time to contact his warehouse and later came back to me with the information that I needed. The package came the next day as promised. I would definitely use this company again.”

“I bought a Bosch Shredder AXT 25C. The price was good and delivery free. The on-line purchase was easy. The next-day delivery service by Fed Ex was too soon but easily diverted to a more convenient day. The shredder weighed more than 30kg and was in a big box. The delivery driver had no mechanical handling aids, not even a simple sack cart! He had to ask for help unloading and delivering into our garage. The hand holes in the box made deep marks into my hands, I should have worn gloves. If the delivery was the previous week, I wouldn't have been able to help unload as I had a back problem. Not sure what the driver would have done then, drag it I suppose. The shredder was easy to remove from the box, I undid one end of the box and the shredder just rolled out onto the floor, brilliant! It was easy to assemble too and took less than a minute, not counting having to sort through all the Bosch documentation written in two dozen languages. The Turbine Cutter clearance had been already set at the factory, witnessed by small shreds of aluminium in the cutter. In operation it is very simple; one button for on, one for off and one for reverse. That's it! The shredder is amazingly quiet and you don't need ear defenders. I would wear gloves though. The cutter revolves quite slowly at 40rpm and although it will grab hold of twigs and branches it will not snatch them from your hand fast enough to be a problem. The pusher works well, although I wish the feed hooper was bigger to take the looser material. The waste bin is a convenient size so that you don't have to be forever emptying it, but it is not too heavy to lift and carry to the dumping area. Overall, 5/5 for Tool Store, 4/5 for Fed-Ex and 5/5 for Bosch.”
