“The shop is 'localish' (18 miles) to me but of course with Covid it is too risky for me (I am very high risk) to go out at all, yet alone to shops, so I was delighted to be able to support a local shop. That aside I was pleased at the price of the Dremel item I wanted, and it was cheaper than the most popular websites that I and I am sure many others use. I placed my order online on 26 October 2020 at 2-15pm and although the postage was average for next day delivery, I honestly though I ordered too late for next day. Imagine my surprise when within 24 hours my item arrived ! This is the sort of service that will keep local shops open and I will be ordering more from them in the future... well done guys !”

“Bought a Makita petrol strimmer from the store to be delivered within three days, that didn’t happen. I Can’t blame the seller for the courier getting it wrong but I was kept up to date with the delivery information regarding new delivery date. When the item arrived, it was damaged. The choke lever was loose due to a crack in the case around the motor. The packaging was fine so the item possibly left the factory that way. “Alan Wadkins Tool Store” arranged a free collection, I still had all the packaging, if I didn’t that would have been an issue, who has a box that size kicking about. “Alan Wadkins Tool Store” got the item back made the repair in house in a couple of days and got the strimmer back to me within a week. You always want a brand new item to work right out the box, but sometimes that doesn’t happen. It’s the service you get when it goes wrong that makes the difference between a good online seller and a rubbish one.”
