Use Timetastic to book annual leave. I'm sure there's much more than can/could be done with it - but, as far as doing what we need goes, it's very easy to use. Love it's integration with other apps (like Slack) too

lightweight. simple. nonintrusive. works well with slack. works well with google calendars. good customisation. i've used timetastic with small teams (5ppl) and midsize teams (30+ ppl) and it immediately takes away the hassle of tracking people's whereabouts, working patterns and leave.

Timetastic is the perfect solution for us as it doesn't require a link to payroll meaning we can manage our Uk team, US team and our contractors all in one place. It's easy to set up and adjust and provides a clear view of holidays and sick leave across the company.

I was introduced to Timetastic by our external HR company and I am very happy with the ease of use and clear information for all staff to be able to see what holiday is left. It is easy to set up and share with staff. We needed a more manageable cost effective system and this ticks all the boxes. Amazing support also. Definitely recommend this for anyone needing to keep track of absences with minimal fuss.
