“We are refurbishing a 1930's property and we were initially very worried when we found patches of damp in the walls and woodworm in the floorboards. We were very impressed with the responsiveness of Timberwise to make the initial survey, helpfulness of the surveyor and timeliness and quality of the final job. We would definitely be happy to recommend Timberwise UK Ltd”

“How refreshing! We requested a survey and were very impressed with the friendly professionalism, expertise, honesty and patience in surveying our rather old and quirky home. After discussing the findings the conclusion is that NO TREATMENT IS REQUIRED! The timbers inspected 'are suffering from historic infestation which is now not active'. What a relief and we feel that have have had a service which we can trust. Highly recommended.”

“Excellent service throughout the process from initial report, to admin and the final works. Everything was done with courtesy and professionalism. The work itself (damp treatment) was completed within the time stated and every care was taken to protect our furniture, floor coverings, etc from inevitable dust; nothing seemed too much trouble and disruption was kept to an absolute minimum. The final finish is first class. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Timberwise.”

“From requesting a survey to completion of the work the communication from the Timberwise team was excellent. The roof treatment was not straight-forward due to the possibility of bats being present, but they liaised with the Bat Trust and followed their recommendations. The treatment was carried out in a timely manner and the loft space was left as it was found with no mess in the house. Thank you.”

“Job done on time by technicians (Phil & Andy ) who new exactly what they were doing ,hard working ,very polite and left the site at the end of each day tidy . The finished result was of an excellent standard and the feel of the room following works was noticeably different . I have since the works have been carried out in April 2017 recommended Timberwise to two people who were also having similar problems with damp that I was .”

“I am in the process of selling my home. The Survey threw up some timber problems which needed to be addressed. From the moment I contacted Timberwise to the completion of the work they were helpful, understanding and reassuring. The work was carried out quickly and efficiently. Everyone at Timberwise from the Surveyor who prepared the report to the, technician who carried out the work and the wonderfully girls in the office who had to put up with my frantic phone calls, everyone gave one hundred percent. Their customer care was exemplary. I would most definitely recommend them to family and friends and will not hesitate to use them again.”

“They came promptly to look at the problem on both occasions we have used them (in different properties). They were clear about what they recommended to solve the damp problems - one being more complicated as it was a room in the ground - and explained in detail what was to be done. They attended to do the work promptly and their employees treated us with respect and took care not to cause unnecessary upheaval in the areas not affected.”

“TImberwise were great. I called them about some suspect mould on my window frames. They were very professional and easy to communicate with. They arranged an appointment with a surveyor in my home and at a time to suit me and In actual fact my mould was not a big problem and needed no treatment. Point is they were totally honest and I felt trustworthy too. Because of their honest approach If I ever do have a damp issue or problem in their field I would definately be calling them. I would trust them to be honest about any issue and sell me only what I need. I definately recommend them. They are a property care association member too which is great. I am totally impressed with Timberwise.”

“Timberwise did a full, free survey and quoted for the necessary woodworm treatment. Their operative - Eric -arrived early on the appointed day, but set up his gear outside so as not to disturb us - very thoughtful. He completed all the agreed work with no fuss and no mess. I have to say that Eric was a star. They had been recommended by a neighbour who used them a couple of years ago. Not only did they live up to expectations, but they were very reasonably priced - a rare combination these days. Highly recommended and I would use them again.”

“The surveyor was very knowledgeable and reassuring about what we thought may be a major woodworm issue. He gave a detailed examination and report and, even though he said we probably didn't have a current problem, we decided to have the house treated anyway. The engineer who came was very friendly and thorough, and cleaned up after himself. All in all, a good result from a good company.”

“Had a visit from Graham Malpas from Timberwise in Northwich within 24 hours of me reporting a possible infestation by wood boring insects in my timber framed house. (Nightmare!) He was reassuring on the phone - and when he carried out the inspection, was able to identify the insects as emanating from the wood pile in the corner of the room. Samples of the insects were taken away to identify the species. I received both an email and a written report confirming that no treatment was necessary - and there was no charge. Such a professional service - and so refreshing to use a company that have a reputation to preserve. There are plenty of 'cowboys' and rip off merchants in the building industry! I would have NO HESITATION in recommending Timberwise to anyone who needs help or advice on structural wood in their homes.”

“I knew that we had active woodworm, this was obvious, so we got 3 vendors to quote. Timberwise did offer the best value. The gentleman who did the work was very "old school" polite, courteous and was very clean and tidy. There were no cost escalations and the guarantee and guarantee insurance came through promptly. I am very happy with the quality of the work.”
