I am sorry that this order happened to be a small one. It won't always be so. I have received your invoice but sadly the package has not yet appeared

It’s the first time I placed an order with the wool factory. I was rather disappointed the way the order was poorly and cheaply packed and I had to be very cautious not to damage the yarn when opening the parcel. My order was large and amounted to over £70 so I expected a better quality service. One strand of yarn was missing strangely enough. I had ordered 2 of the same wool.

Hi Debbie, Thank you for your review. Your order was placed on the 12th June. As stated on our website international orders are currently taking up to 30 working days to arrive. I ordered 4 patterns. 1 pattern arrived with 2 free patterns of which are no use to me. 3 x patterns were downloads although I was given to understand they were paper patterns. I have not received the download patterns. Have left numerous voicemail messages and sent 3 emails. No response from either. This as now been going on for 2 weeks. Very disappointed and definitely won't be using them in future.

Hi Beverley, We are sorry to hear that you have not received your downloadable patterns but we can confirm that we have replied to your emails! Please could you check your 'Spam' folder for our emails sent to you. We sent one email on the 17th and one on Tuesday 22nd. We have stated on our contact us page that 'AOL' and 'Yahoo' email addresses are currently putting our emails in the Spam folder. Once you have checked your emails, please would you mind updating your review. Thank you

Hi Frances, We replied to your email regarding your order and did not receive a reply back. We emailed regarding confirmation of your delivery address and we have since received your parcel back with a note from Royal Mail stating 'no such address' It is a shame that we was not given the chance to rectify your missing parcel before leaving a negative review.

I like the wool but not very impressed with the service when I informed them that the parcel was split on receipt I didn't get any response!!

I’ve never written a review but I ordered a pattern, couldn’t download it, contacted the Wool factory and got no response, contacted PayPal and got no response and eve asked for a refund with no response., so I’m afraid on this occasion I cannot say the service has been good.

You are asking me to write a review when I have not even received the products. You are taking longer than all the other companies I have used. I had dreadful difficulties trying to download the pattern I purchased. I could not download the pattern to my computer to print it at all. Could only download it to my phone which is not what I wanted. When I contacted to ask for help I got no reply ! I won't be using you again.Plenty of other reliable companies out there !

Took forever and a day to ship (not RM fault,stamp showed 30/12 when the order was made and paid on 06/12). Mystery box is a joke, small yarns or bigger ones they sell for £1 anyway,no bargain whatsoever. Found much better elsewhere.

Hi Athanasia Thank you for your review and we are saddened to see only a 1 star rating, as a small family business low star ratings really effect us. All orders are dispatched when we state they are dispatched. There are no 'dates' on the packages when we send them out, this will be stamped by Royal Mail when they have actually got round to sorting it. We are sorry to hear you was disappointed with your Mystery Box. The Mystery box does have some cheaper yarns in but also has more expensive yarns, if you look at the usual retail price of most of them yarns you will see that it is much more that what has actually been paid for the box. Not at all happy at the moment - started to knit only to find the ball of wool had four ends! Hope they are not all like that or will be asking for a refund!

The yarn I purchased last was not fit for purpose. It would not knit to any tension. I wasted three days trying to make this work and ended giving it to a charity shop. The yarn is inferior and that is why it is so cheap. Don't waste your money.

Ordered a wool Jeanie 29th November 2020, by 22nd december still not received, sent an email asking for tracking details, got a reply back saying i had to wait 15 days for non receipt, I replied it was 16 nearly 17 working days, reply back was there are no tracking details and it was the royal mails fault. No help or apology given. It has just turned up with the 1st character or number on each line cut off all the way down the label. No wonder it was delayed as the address was incomplete. Maybe a little more care on the packing would have allowed this parcel to arrive earlier which could then have been given for the Christmas present it had intended to be. So 1 Star is all I can rate this terrible experience!
