Good to connect you with Creators. However, the website has a bug so if a Creator doesn't deliver as promised, social cat has no way of rectifying the issue.

Social Cat is a great concept, but it’s extremely difficult to get collaborations on here. Probably down to the fact that there are 50 times more influencers on here than brands.

Great to find new opportunities to work with, but unfortunately hard to find many. There aren’t a lot of people to reach out to/ connect with.

I find Social Cat to be very helpful in connecting Influencers with small brands. However, I don’t feel the site is easy to understand and maneuver. I didn’t notice any drop-downs explaining each of the tabs. Once I’ve applied for a collaboration, there doesn’t appear to be a way to track those applications.

I haven’t seen a lot of really good opportunities but have enjoyed the ones I done. Hope to possibly do more in the future and transition to paid collaboration.

Just ok so far. I have not gotten a resolution on one of my problems with an influencer who was not responsive to me and about to report another one for not being responsive after one month. However they have had my product for over a month and full of excuses. I am unsure if they can just take things and not follow instructions but it cost small businesses money to ship and provide free product. We are already taking a chance and I do not believe they understand that as a small business, everything matters to our bottom line. Social Kat must do better with this.

The service offers what it claims to offer and their platform is well laid out and easy to use. Our issue was that half of the influencers that we tried to collab with never got back to us after the initial convo, and we also found that many of the influencers did not have enough engagement to make it worth it. Followers do not equal engagement. We did some digging and found that even those who had good engagement on Instagram, most of it was bot or junk comments and fake likes. In the realm of social media, AI, and the digital age, measuring a genuine following or the "popularity" of influencers is almost impossible without doing some real investigating and I think Social Kat could do a better job of vetting the quality of their influencers.

I’ve made some great connections on Social Kat! I’ve also had to stop going through opportunities because so many of them did not pertain to me and it became very time consuming.

Fab display of daily opportunities. I am fairly picky who I choose to work with as it needs to feel natural for me and suit our home page but there is a lot for everyone. Joe is awesome, very responsive, would recommend Social Kat.

I am new and at the moment I am getting very few, several days with zero, opportunities. Most of the opportunities I get submitted are not viable options, I have a kids' clothing brand and I am expecting the influencer to at least have a child for these clothes. Sometimes I get submissions for people who have a cat or a dog, or just do beauty product reviews.

I'm not finding collaborators in my area, let alone state. And even though i say gifted campaign, many collabs ask for money. Not sure i'll keep using this service.

Need more companies that are catered to what my content is about, I’ve had some great connections but some of them haven’t been more geared toward my content!

I think that influencers should be filtered a bit more to be categorized and be shown the "right fit" companies. I get many opportunities from children or teen girls that my product has nothing to do with. They however, count as an opportunity and this does not let my real influencer fits find me, since my opportunities are used up.

This is a tricky balance to make, especially because we're working with 1.000+ brands and 10.000+ creators. However, for 2023, our top priority is product building which means better matches and more influencers. I have enjoyed using Social Cat to help source brand partnerships. However, there needs to be a better filtering system for partnerships that align with my niche. I create content for home decor and interior design. It is not relevant for me to partner with pet, beauty, fashion or health brands. However I receive 20 new brands to review daily from social cat - many of which are not relevant. It was taking too much time for me to review and decline all of these random brands until I eventually turned off the collaboration feature. A shame!

I don’t think it’s fair that creators have to have 5 thousand to charge money for work. At the end of the day we do the same work as larger creators if not work harder and faster because we don’t have collabs rolling in on a daily bases. I think the app has potential to be the greatest one out there but the brands are all small brands that are starting up and I have been getting paid as a creator for 6 years working with brands like L’Oreal and dove that actually pay small creators for their work and time. Atleast 100 per video is the minimum a ugc creator should make. Free products we can get by leaving reviews or going on a survey website. These brands are asking too much for a free 20$ shirt I’m getting bored of it

We're debating if the five 5-star reviews rule is something we should guide ourselves after, and we're looking for more feedback. We took this decision because it's pretty easy to do five collaborations on Social Cat, but it's still something we try to understand better. 2. Our target market is small brands, but we're looking to acquire more of the established brands which are also interested in paid work. 3. We're working on product updates that will set the expectations right for gifted collaborations. On our communication channels, we always inform brands what they can expect in return for a gifted collaboration, but this will be even better with these new updates. Please be patient in seeing all this slowly going live; we agree that our app has great potential, and we're working slowly to implement the above. Hi Connor, Thanks for the review and feedback! We looked over your account, and I see you've been with us only for the free trial period, which is seven days, and only had four collaborations. From our experience and perspective, finding the right influencers to generate conversions takes time. It also depends on other factors, like how well your website is optimized for conversions, campaign placement, etc. Brands on Social Cat that have success from a conversion perspective work with tens of influencers to find the right ones and then tend to work with them regularly.
