“If you need people to just make content for you, decent place, as some of the creators make good content, but some make really garbage low effort content. If you want to get actual impressions on your brand, most of the creators entire feeds are product placement, and the follows are other UGC content creators and NOT your actual target audience. Or the creators are loaded with fake views and fake likes. In general, you are not likely to see any brand lift from using these creators to post about you. But you can find some creators who make quality content. Or get stuck with a creator who makes very low effort content”

“Social Cat is a great idea for getting new businesses like mine off the ground with content creation. They gave me plenty of options to choose from. The only scar left is an influencer ghosting me now they have my product without completing the contract we agreed”

“Great way to connect with influences that can help promote my products for a growing brand. Only drawback is there are many collaborators that want to collaborate on the trial, but the trial is too short to get a good collaboration and the conversations go silent.”

“As a brand, I love the concept and the ease of connecting with creators. However, there's little to no accountability to ensure creators fulfill their commitments. I had difficulty getting responses from some creators (even after they reached out directly to us to work with us), and some of the creators never posted content. I think this has the potential to be an amazing tool if some of the issues are worked out.”

“Half of the creators didn't respond after product was sent. I had to spend a lot of time following up. I don't like having to pay $19/month just to hold my subscription to get the promised assets.”

“Social cat is okay, there are some gifted collabs and paid but to get paid you must complete 5 gifted and get 5 star reviews from each, which isn’t a problem but not all sellers leave reviews.”

“Great way to get a few first brand deals, but unsustainable long term. Handing over work in perpetuity for free takes advantage of creators and there is no way for new creators to the app to skirt the 5 x 5 star reviews to qualify for paid deals - no matter their experience or follower count which blows my mind. Would recommend for creators just starting out though.”
