“Quite hard to use when washing up”

Hello Elizabeth, Thanks for leaving a review and sorry to hear that you're finding the sponges a bit hard. They are a natural product so there is a bit of variation in the loofah. It will soften up as it is used and you can speed it up by popping them in the washing machine which freshens them up too. If they're still proving too hard, pleae get in touch with us at hello@theseepcompany.com and we will replace them with some softer ones. Laura

“Purchase and delivery was quick. The product it self is not easy to use as it is not very flexible it is ok when using with larger items but very difficult with smaller items. The scourer side is not that great and it is also not lasting a month as claimed. Love the idea though but needs improving.”

“Love the new product for it a space saving ideals before use, and the fact you can halve it to the size that is more preferable. Not getting any communication by them about the suite despite asking. Not much communication from the company”

“I was really disappointed when the gloves in the beginner bundle I purchased broke after just one week of light-medium use particularly as no harsh chemicals had been used on or around them. However I was further disappointed when having given feedback on this matter seep were dismissive, citing difficulties in achieving the correct durability with no offer to replace or refund the (in my opinion) faulty product. I try to be environmentally conscious where I can but I do not think I will be purchasing from seep again and sadly may have to return to plastic marigolds.”

Thanks for your review. We've taken this feedback onboard and have designed our sponges to be slightly smaller in size and more flexible. We'd love for you to give them a go again as we think these changes could help you clean items like mugs much more easily.

“Love the HOME compostable sponges, use them in the kitchen for washing up and general cleaning - loofah side makes a great scourer. Mine seem to last longer than the 1 month average life span suggested by Seep. I put them through dish washer OR hot lemon water in microwave. AND the Insta page is great for cleaning tips.”

“I bought the kitchen sponges and find that the loofah backing is too stiff. It doesn’t enable me to squeeze out the water in the sponge and then it starts to smell damp and unpleasant. I’ve ripped off the loofah and now the water from the sponge can be squeezed out. I shall use the loofah separately for cleaning. I’ve ripped the sponge in the process, which isn’t ideal, but it’s still useable. The larger sponges you make for bathroom cleaning don’t have the loofah backing, so maybe I will buy them next time, but still cut them up to make them a more useable size in the kitchen. Hope this all makes sense.”

“Love the look and idea of this product but every single sponge so far has had a faulty seam and starts to come apart after just a few uses. Disappointed by this issue as I bought a year’s supply.”
