“Not made in UK so disappointed”

We try to source as close to home as possible, but there are several reasons we have to source from China, including not being able to find suppliers here that are able to produce the products we need in the right quality, quantity, and specifications. “It’s early days for us using seep. My husband isn’t keen as he doesn’t find the pad flexible enough. The idea behind it is very good, but we are still having to use a reusable scourer from another company for burnt on residue on pans.”

Thank you for giving us a try. The sponge scourers need to be dried out before they can be packaged and dispatched to customers. We advise rinsing under water and giving them a little massage before use to soften them up. The sponges will become softer upon continued use with washing-up liquid. They will also soften up with usage, so the longer you use it, the softer and more malleable it gets. You can speed this up by popping it into the washing machine or dishwasher a few times. For tougher food stuff, we suggest using our bamboo brush or copper scourers alongside.

Hello Maxine, we are delighted that you gave us a try, but sorry that you haven't got on with our sponge scourer. They can be a great sponge, but does sometimes takes a little time to get used to as they have a different feel to a plastic sponge.

“A bit disappointed with the quality of the 2 sided sponges 🧽 they're not very flexible and also one side is brown now?? The other dishcloth is very expensive - delivery cost is too expensive too!”

Glad that you like the sponge scourers. Our gloves are one of the first natural rubber household gloves to market in the UK that have passed biodegradability testing (in accordance with ASTM D5511). They are lighter because they have been specially developed to biodegrade, but should work just as well as other household gloves on the market. As these gloves are designed to completely biodegrade under composting conditions, it is very important to maintain the gloves properly. Therefore, please try to air dry and keep out of direct sunlight, as the humidity and heat will speed up the breakdown process. Sorry that you have found this. Loofah fibres are naturally coarse and have good scrubbing power, yet gentle enough for non-scratch pans. If you require more heavy-duty cleaning, we suggest our copper scourers or washing-up brush

“The rubber gloves are thin, sweaty and have a very short life span. Just is still out on the pan scrubbers. First one is lasting well- 3 weeks, but looks ghastly- stained and nasty! Not the best experience to be honest.”

Hello, we are sorry to hear this. I have had a look at the tracking, and it has been delivered to the address that we were given, and I can see it is under a blue box. We will always try our best to change an address if we can, but it is not always possible for us to do this. Hope you are back in your home soon.

“Love the concept but two of the pack of 4 developed a split between the soft/scouring part of the sponges almost immediately and the scourers just don't really cut it, so they don't last as long as I was hoping for the money.”

“The washing up clothes are brilliant but the sponges are just loofah, and aren't really that great on tough burnt or dried in food. I guess we need to decide whetehr clean tins and pots and pans or saving the planet is more important.”

“Yes they're a good sponge, the scrubber part lasts well, sadly as for the actual sponge but, they're falling apart and very quickly, I wash up 3 times a day and within 2 weeks they're falling apart”
