Love the non-plastic product concept, it generally cleans well, especially dishes after a meal. For pots and pans, even after soak, it doesn't scrub well so food still stick on. Need to use my plastic wash up sponge which defeat the purpose for me.

Loofah fibres are naturally coarse and have good scrubbing power, yet gentle enough for non-scratch pans. If you require more heavy-duty cleaning, we suggest our copper scourers or washing-up brush

Good that the pads are environmentally friendly but not happy with the quality. The loofah side started coming apart within a week and it leaves bits everywhere.

Sponges were good on the whole, but some seemed to be less well made and the scourer part detached from the sponge very quickly. I will keep trying them but not 100% convinced just yet. The ones that were well made were really good.

Products are very good and sustainable but pricey. Recently found very similar sustainable products in one of the big chain shops much cheaper. So in this time of huge expenses v low incomes it makes sense to pay less

I was really excited to receive my products from Seep and persuaded my hubby that the washing sponges had to be better than the cheap ones and last longer. However I am a little disappointed that the first sponge lasted a month before all the white side had disintegrated and it’s had to be binned. I have a pack of four so fingers crossed the second one lasts a little longer…. But I am invested in the idea of no more micro-plastic so will keep going 🤞

Keep going! We say that they should last around a month but lots of our customers say they can last longer.

Based on the ads I saw I thought the sponge would take longer to look as grubby as it looks after only a few weeks of use.

I really like the ethos and effort gone into the product I bought, so for that Seep should be congratulated. However I don't the product think is as effective as the alternative, so I ahve given away to someone else to try. Keep trying!

Delivery was slightly delayed. Like the sponge product though, a useful change in my cleaning. Cloth leaves residual fluff after use, even after being through the washing machine.

Sorry about the delay. We are now back up to speed with them! Generally all textiles made from natural fibres will shed during wash and wear as this is the nature of the yarns which are made up of short and long fibres. Man-made fibres such as polyester and nylon will appear to have less shedding as the yarns are made up of a continuous filament/yarn. These are extruded into smooth 'monofilament' type yarn versus natural textiles which are woven from smaller staple yarns. These different-length fibres enable the yarn to break down and biodegrade, unlike manmade fibres. "

I have been using SEEP for just under a month. I love the idea that I can reducemy use of plastic, especially single use plastic but it is going to take me longer to get used to these products as I keep reverting to the old scourer, and the gloves are very thin, one of which has already got a hole in it

Our gloves are one of the first natural rubber household gloves to market in the UK that have passed biodegradability testing (in accordance with ASTM D5511). They are lighter because they have been specially developed to biodegrade, but should work just as well as other household gloves on the market.

Rubber gloves . . . I'm afraid the gloves discoloured almost immediately, and then didn't last very long.

Hello Lin, When this happened did you get in contact with us?

The copper scourers are great as are the cloths...the rubber gloves are awful and have no grip when wet so no good for washing dishes

Odering was easy but I hit a busy time for Seep when they had been inundated with purchases. The products were out of stock so I had to wait some time before receiving my order. Seep staff were very apologetic.

The kitchen sponges are good but the cleaning cloths started unravelling after the first wash and are very poor in thinness and quality

It’s great to know that the items do not contain micro plastics and are bio degradable ,a higher price but understand why . But I’d say that I feel that the rubber gloves do not last .?the little sponge cloth is not abrasive as a normal Sponge but happy to know they are eco friendly . Well done Seep

I bought these after seeing them on Dragon's Den and loved that they did not contain plastic. I love the feel of the cloths and they have replaced all the J-cloths, etc. in my cupboard. However, after the first run through the washing machine, one cloth has torn and frayed along one edge. It doesn't look as though they're going to last very long. Disappointing.

Having seen the product on Dragons Den I was disappointed by the quality of the sponge - it was described as long lasting, but in reality lasted less than a week. Its not clear what long lasting means but a week isn't that...

I don’t know what Seep is but it didn’t get in the way of things so I guess it’s fine.

Not getting on too well with my sponges , they aren’t as good at removing dried on stuff as the others. But as I want to stop using plastics as much as possible . I’m going to persevere with the box I’ve bought but not convinced yet!
