Unfortunately they don't work as well as the nylon ones

Hello Debra, we are sorry that you think this, as we think they are as good as, if not better than, the plastic sponges. They can take a little time to get used to, as they have a very different feel to the plastic sponges we have all used for a long time.

Great sponges, but start to fall apart too quickly and they have no abrasiveness so you need to also buy a separate scrubber. They say they are scourers but they absolutely are not.

I like the idea of these so much that i bout a year’s supply to really commit to the change and cause. I must say, that although i am impressed by the mission and the natural product, i am left disappointed by the loofah side. It does not scour too well and takes an awful lot more effort to scrub.

Hello, thank you so much for trying our sponge scourers. Loofah fibres are naturally coarse and have good scrubbing power, yet are gentle enough for non-scratch pans. If you require more heavy-duty cleaning, we suggest our copper scourers or washing-up brush

Somewhat disappointed with durability of sponge/scrub; after about 14 days the sponge started separating from the scrub, which is not ideal. The scrubbing brush is OK, but bristles aren't as stiff as I'd like, and wooden handle and bamboo head are already looking tired. Overall a bit disappointing.

Great idea but they definitely do not scrub as well as the other scrubbies.

Slightly disappointed as the comments on the product advert said that the sponge was quite flexible however I can't get it to bend around a pot handle or do the crevice inside a crock pot or the corners of the oven tray. So unfortunately for me it is useful but only for the things I would put in the dishwasher that are perfectly flat or slightly curved. Any cooking items like parts pans and oven trays I'm going to have to revert back to the really annoying plastic covered scouring pads because they bend to the shape of the item that I'm trying to clean. To give people an idea it's like trying to scrub your pots and pans with a leather slipper. There is some flexibility there but only in certain directions.

Although I appreciate the idea is a good one. It’s not for us. We don’t have a dish washer and therefore we use them daily and they are not strong enough for our needs.

Very happy with my sponges but have to say the bin bags didn’t hold up well! The bag split when I took it out and the rubbish needed up on the floor!

The sponges are very good but I find them quite difficult to bend and squeeze with arthritic hands. They are quite rigid.

Thank you for liking our sponge scourers. The more you use them, the softer they will become, but to help speed this up, just pop them in the washing machine or soak them in hot water. You might like our pop-up sponges.

Its ok but doesn't really remove dirt very well

Hello, thank you for taking the time to review us. Loofah fibres are naturally coarse and have good scrubbing power, yet are gentle enough for non-scratch pans. If you require more heavy-duty cleaning, we suggest our copper scourers or washing-up brush alongside.

We are so sorry that we sold out, but we have some lovely new designs that will be out in the New Year!

Your postage is expensive. Noticeably so

Hello, yes, we agree, but this is what we have to pay

I am disappointed with these unfortunately. I'm not averse to using 'elbow grease' in the kitchen but even after applying a significant amount of pressure to dried on cooking stains, the scourer side doesn't lift the dirt. Sponge side is ok but overall they don't live up to the hype for me. Great idea, doesn't quite meet the brief.

I found the scrub pads inflexible, therefore I tried cutting them in half so that I could insert them into my glasses, but still awkward to use.

Copper scrub kept shredding bits of copper. Do not impressed with that. Loafers will not last very long so that’s quite an investment buying new ones probably on a monthly basis. Which I cannot afford. Disappoint that only 2 cloths had William morris print on them - false advertising comes to mind. I will be hard pushed to buy more form you.

Hello, thank you for taking the time to review us. We are sorry that you have found this. The copper scourers are naturally anti-bacterial and non-rust, long-lasting and durable. 100% recyclable and ideal for removing the toughest dirt. The sponge scourers are made from 100% natural materials and should last 1-2 months before starting to break down We love our William Morris cloths, and it clearly shows on our website the cloths that you will receive. But please do get in contact with us about them if they have not performed as they should have at hello@theseepcompany.com, and we are more than happy to help you there :-)

Thank you so much for trying our sponge scourers. They are made from 100% natural materials, so they can take a little time to get used to as they do feel different from the plastic sponges that we have used for a long time.

It’s fine but after 2 weeks of using the washing up sponge, some of the bits have fallen off the white side. I would also like it to be more pliable to squeeze into corners of dishes etc. but on the whole, we are pleased to be using plastic free products.

Hello, thank you for trying our sponge scourers, and so that they are not for you. But delighted that you like the idea behind them. They can take time to get used to, as they do feel very different from the plastic sponges that we have got used to. We find them perfect for washing up, scrubbing dishes and wiping up spills, long-lasting and durable (each sponge lasts more than 1 month), and because they are 100% plastic-free, they will break down into harmless organic waste, toxin-free and not harmful to humans or ecosystems as it does not release microplastics into the environment

I found the scourers not flexible enough unfortunately even after trying to soften them up as said in other reviews, not made any difference really.

Thank you for trying our plastic-free sponge scourers. As they have to be dried out for transport, we suggest massaging them with washing-up liquid before you start to use them. They should soften up with use, but to speed this up, pop them in the washing machine once or twice. This should help :-)

Very disappointed in the pack of 12 scrubbers. Far too stiff and impossible to use to get to the bottom of cups and glasses. Did like the wiping clothes

Great that you liked our bamboo cloth. The sponges are dried out before transporting, so do need hydrating when you start to use them. This process can be sped up by popping them in the washing machine once or twice. They can also take a little time to get used to, as they are made from natural materials, which do feel different from the plastic sponges that we have used.
