“I love the product and not using plastic scourers any more. Well made. It takes a bit more elbow grease to get tuff marks off, but worth it.”

“Love the product - theres lots to like, great texture and cleaning capability and ethos behind company. It seems hardwearing but the two sides have unfortunately come apart in the first few weeks of use. So stronger cotton/handstitching needed?”

“We have been using the first scourer for 10 days and are quite happy with it. We are very heavy on our scourers as we use them every week day - only using the dishwasher at weekends. So far it is holding up quite well. A few bits of the loofah side have parted company, but all in all it's still in quite good shape.”

“I made my first order with Seep, to date I’m slightly underwhelmed. I bought the sponges they seem a bit inflexible, can’t really use them for the washing up. The all purpose cloths were outstanding and could even be used as flannel’s . Furthermore the scourers have been out of stock since I first visited, not good really.”

“I received the starter kit. I have only tried 2 products. 1. Dish washer sponge/scrubber, by the second hand was, the soft side had started to disintegrate, leaving slabs in my drain. I have continued to use it and have included a photo, after 2 weeks. 2. Dish washing gloves, they are a good size, but I like to was using very hot water, and these are to thin for that. I now use the for general cleaning. They do the job.”

We have pretty good quality control for all of our products and check each batch that goes out of our factories, but unfortunately, some not-quite-right products do occasionally slip through. We track these product issues and work with our factories to improve them the next time. Often, they arise because we're using natural materials, which are more difficult to work with. “I like the eco-friendly quality of your product. The bamboo side is a bit stiff initially especially to get into the corners smaller items like mugs. Great for flatter surfaces. Certainly worth continuing with. I shall persevere!”

“Nice little sponges and have been using now for 10 days and sadly the sponge has now come apart from the bamboo side, so do not think 1 is going to last a month like what is said on the adverts.”

Thank you, and we are glad you are pleased with them. They will become more malleable the longer you use them, but to speed this up, just pop them in the washing machine. Scrambled eggs can be a nightmare! Our copper scourers would be great for this

“Glad to not have to use old plastic sponge again. Only used for 2days, all good. ATM it is hard to bend but I have arthritis & hope it will soften a bit. So far I am pleased to have made a change to Seep.”

Thank you, we are delighted you have made the swap. They will become softer the more they are used. To speed this up, just pop them in the washing machine. With your arthritis, you might prefer to use our pop-up sponges :-)

“I’m still trying out my first scourer. Still going strong at 3 weeks. I only wash up by hand. They seem very effective and pleasing to use. I just pop it in the washing machine to freshen up. No green sludge in the bottom of my washing up bowl.”

Thank you so much for try our sponge scourers. The sponge scourers need to be dried out before they can be packaged and dispatched to customers. Rinse under water and give them a little massage before use to soften up. The sponges will become softer upon continued use with washing-up liquid. They will also soften up with usage, so the longer you use it, the softer and more malleable it gets. You can speed this up by popping it into the washing machine or dishwasher a few times.

“The concept is great. I love how they work as well or even better than traditional sponges. One sponge lasted nearly a month and would have lasted a lot longer if the two parts didn't separate. I'm not sure if that's built in obsolescence or not but its my only issue with them. Would I buy again? Yes!”

“I really wanted this product to work, but it failed at the first hurdle with a pan. Couldn’t shift a bit of burnt food on the bottom and I had to resort to getting the dreaded plastic yellow and green sponge out which did it in a heartbeat . But that is back in the cupboard and we use this one pretty much all the time. Great for light duties,”
