I would not read too much into the reviews on here as I don't know who they have been dealing with. We have just had our policy cancelled after Footprint claimed we had not sent correct documentation, this had been sent via email, to which they have responded to. I have now had to cancel a week's worth of jobs to try and get this sorted out!! Disgraceful. Letters sent out, giving seven days to implement something, the letter arrives on the day it is due!! Don't go near them, bunch of cowboys!

Shocking. They lost my documents I sent to them twice so had to keep re-sending every couple of days getting emails in big red letters threatening to stop my insurance. Then get a email saying that I had given them wrong details of when I got my license which I know I gave them the correct details. So obviously the broker had taken the year of my license and not checked the date that mistake added an extra £170 which I had a week to pay or my insurance would be cancelled. DO NOT USE THEY ARE MICKY MOUSE

Pathetic not one quoted price was as quoted then spent the next month inundate d with calls emails offering better qotes

You kindly sent me an email telling me my van insurance was due. Being busy, I renewed my insurance without an checks my end. It turned out my insurance was not due and I was insured twice! As a result of having to cancel one of these policies, it cost me £85.00 cancellation fee. Thanks Van Insurer for getting your facts wrong and costing me money, I'll be sure to use you again!.....

Absolute rubbish!!!! Ran through the comparison information and selected the cheapest ( budget insurance ) for my transit van Then budget rang me to say that I can't use my 5 years no claims on my motor bike towards the van insurance even though the site let me select it and proceed Ended up costing me another £400 Thanks for nothing!

I only rated my experience one star because there was no minus star options available as it would otherwise be a -5 star rating. Some of the staff were very polite but not necessary helpful and if that wasn't bad enough when I rang to discuss and issue and a lady was at the other end of the phone, she was fare from professional in terms of communication and beyond disasters in terms of being helpful. I have done customer servicing for over 9 years and I fully comprehend the importance of the customer and their value to me or the organisation I worked for. However, to my knowledge and based on my experience with your selves, your team requires a solid training on communication skills and knowledge on hot to be good use to their customers. I paid over £640 for my policy in full, and after hitting a brick wall through few conversations I with different staff members I decided to cancel my policy, and out of £640 I been refunded lees than £540 only after 13 days! I have over one million British followers on twitter and Facebook, and as from this Friday I will most certainly share my experience with every one and also ask them to share it over and over. To be honest I am not sure why I bothered to write this feedback because if the company does not value its customers through phone call conversations I very much doubted that any feedback is taken into account. As soon as I got the policy documents through, the insurance company called to tell me that my policy was going to be an additional £80 because of a NO FAULT claim. Apparently the good sales people at "The Van Insurer" left this detail out when compiling my quote. To cancel the policy would cost me £50.00 Don't use this outfit - even if their prices seem good - at first
