“I bought two tapes which were delivered quickly and work well. The only problem I had was with the small one was its packaging. It was so tightly packed my the manufacturer with heavy duty cardboard and glues that it it me ages to get it out and there was considerable worry over breaking it.”

“Good service and delivery, thank you. The tape (8m Class1) is as discribed. I have just one little observation: the width of the closed tape is given as 90mm which is helpful but would be more helpful if the size were increased to 100mm for ease of use.”

“I bought the Fisco BT8ME Big T Tape 8m/26ft - Class 1, which arrived as a Hultafors-branded item. It’s worth saying that I generally like Hultafors products (I have a couple of their small axes - which are superb) and this tape measure doesn’t disappoint in most respects, however I do have some concerns about the end hook which was described as being coated in an aerospace polymer; however, in reality, the whole hook appears to be made from plastic and this includes the fasteners that attach the hook to the blade (unlike most tape measures that have a metal end hook with metal rivets). I’m concerned that a plastic hook won’t withstand the rigours of everyday use and I probably wouldn’t have bought that tape had I known how it was constructed, as, obviously, as soon as the end hook breaks the tape is useless; it is theoretically possible to buy spare blade but the few that I’ve found online are more expensive than the entire measure. Obviously, only time will tell. As for The Tape Store, one improvement that could be made would be to have more product images for each product but, other than that, I was very happy with the prices, range of products and delivery time/packaging. I’d definitely recommend The Tape Store and will buy from them again.”

“Good product, fast delivery.Overall very happy.However do you really need to package the tapes in a box with 'Fragile ' all over it? Im using them on a building site! Also trying to remove the product packaging was actually dangerous as just cutting the plastic did not release the tape , i had to use a knife ,not easy.”

“Arrived before I expected ! Always nice . A bit disappointed as when I bought my first hultaflors metric tape almost two years ago I was sure it had said you could order replacement blade and so bit of me felt conned that a new unit was only option! Having said that almost two years of hard use and outlasted all other tapes I have had .”
