I ordered a particular type of tape measure from their website, and received the order quite quickly. Unfortunately it was not the correct type of tape measure. I am currently in the process of trying to resolve this issue and am awaiting a reply. Hopefully this will be resolved quickly and easily and I will review again when completed.

Easy to find a selection of quality items. Said on site could use 2nd class post but only option for delivery given (to my mainland UK postcode) was more expensive and less convenient faster courier service. Well wrapped items delivered and are as described.

Product dispatched swiftly by The Tape Store (no complaints whatsoever). However DHL are completely useless and it will be a week before the goods actually arrive, despite it supposedly being next day delivery. Not happy with DHL at all.

Leica laser pole arrived but laser attachment threaded boss is of very poor quality and does not screw into my laser. Email sent to request a replacement but heard nothing. Ordered a better quality mount from elsewhere as couldn't wait

I'm pleased with the service but the delivery is shocking. I payed over £15 delivery for a specific day with I had an email confirming the delivery but then to my amazement on the day had another email of delivery saying the delivery was the following day. I wasn't happy as i needed the goods to be there for the first delivery date

Product arrived Ok, and price was reasonable. It was not really next day service through as web site suggests, as although it was ordered during working hours, it was only dispatched next day, so arrived with us two days later.

Delivery good, paid for next day, but each tape box had screws loose inside from the actual tapes. Had to reassemble them all!

I was expecting this to be delivered on Friday 17th of June as we paid for next day delivery but didnt receive it until Monday the 20th.

I bought this tape measure as I was fed up with readig the prominent imperial measurements when I most often now need metric. It took me ages to determine what the clip trigger was for on the tool pouch clip. When it's pulled back the clip disengages from the tape measure. I suppose that is a good idea if you are too lazy to slide it up off your belt loop but otherwise I don't see the use! I was a bit disappointed with the fact there is no upside reading too on the tape as I am left handed and if I pull the tape from right to left, all my readings were upside down. So, like almost everything, I have to adapt to the right hand world! Just a bit of forethought would have avoided this. I'm wondering if the print on the tape measure will last very long as it doesn't look very strongly adhered to the metal. All in all, I was pretty disappointed as I expected Hultafors brands to be a little better for the price.

Hello Wendy, Many thanks for taking the time to leave a review and apologies that the tape you bought didn't match your expectations. However, the tape is very accurately described on our website and, had you been in any doubt as to its suitability, you could have called/sent an email through the website and asked about the markings. The Fisco BT8M that you purchased is a very popular tape for us and we haven't had any negative feedback at all in the 3+ years we have been selling it. What's more, the large belt clip is clearly displayed in the image on our website and is accurately described there too. That said, I completely understand that different people require different things out of a tool. What is ideal for one person will be completely unsuitable for another. I can only stress that, if you had got in touch with us when the tape arrived (prior to using it) and told us it was unsuitable we would've taken it back, provided a refund or sent you a replacement tape of another make/model. This is clearly laid down in the delivery and returns section of our website. We take our customer's happiness very, very seriously and would never want them to receive a product that was not suitable. From our records it does appear that our service (i.e. how quickly we despatched the goods and had them delivered) was as promised. Not sure if the aquant i got is propery working as is showing an at risk reading, on most areas in which i test. The case was a little dirty when i got it i am not sure if i have received a second hand / used product. Can i request someone call our office to disscuss this mater thanks Andrew Ferguson CGDM

Hello Andrew, I can 100% assure you that you haven't received a second hand/used product. We do not sell any used products. The only reason for packaging being slightly dirty could be that it has been on a shelf for a little while. This obviously doesn't affect the quality or usability of the unit. Apologies you're having an issue with this unit - it could just be a faulty unit although this is a very rare occurrence with Protimeter, their products being very well engineered 99.99% of the time. I'll call you this morning to assess this tool - we can look into arranging a collection/assessment of the product ASAP.

Delivery use was next day express delivery that I paid for and I didn't get items until 4 days later! Wasn't very happy about delivery as paid £7.99 for this

Hi Kevin, I'm sorry to hear you felt let down by the delivery service. We always strive to keep our customers happy as you can see from all the other positive reviews on here! However, on this occasion it is clear that you're not happy and for that we apologise. As per the email I've already sent you we do make it very clear in a number of sections of our website (including the basket/checkout) that courier delivery to Northern Ireland takes 2 working days providing an order has been placed before 2pm. Your order was placed just after 11pm on Thursday and was therefore dispatched on Friday for delivery two working days later - Tuesday (tomorrow). Having checked with our courier (UPS) your delivery is on schedule to arrive as stated on Tuesday. We have therefore lived up to all the commitments about delivery that we make on our website. We subsidise all courier deliveries (to the tune of around £12 in your case) but a Saturday delivery to Northern Ireland would cost us around £50 - a cost we would naturally have had to pass on to you as the customer. Because you didn't request this service we dispatched your order by our standard service. This said, we do appreciate that you are unhappy and, whilst we cannot agree that we've done anything wrong here, as a gesture of good faith we have refunded your postage costs and will be sending you a small gift in the post. The write up on the Bahco MTB Auto tape 5m was very promising. I thought I might have finally found a tape that ticked all the boxes for me. The 'auto lock' was very handy & the return button light to the touch and quick to use. The measurements printed on the reverse are also very useful. But after 1/2 hour of use, the auto lock no longer worked! The tape no longer stayed out but kept rewinding, and on this tape there is no button to keep the tape extended, so it has quickly become a difficult tape to use. The only remedy is to unscrew the casing and clean the rubber wedge inside to remove dust. Then the auto lock works again for a short time. But this is time consuming and troubling, considering how much was spent on the tape. Clearly there was no quality control or testing done. Disappointing.

Hi Crispin, many thanks for leaving a review of this particular tape measure. I'm very sorry to hear that you had an issue with your tape. Had you got in touch and let us know of the issue we would have sent out a replacement immediately or, alternatively, provided a refund. Bahco is an excellent manufacturer and sees the lowest number of faults/returns out of all the brands we sell. However, as with all products, there is occasionally a bad batch. By opening up the tape yourself I'm afraid you may have voided Bahco's warranty. The only problem was that I had to wait in all day for the courier who eventually arrived late afternoon/early evening. Then he was on the phone and I had to wait while he finished his call.

Hi Ray, I'm sorry you had a poor experience with our courier. This is obviously not something we want for our customers. We chose Interlink for their usually wonderful levels of service so it's sad to see that one person has let them down on this occasion. In terms of delivery time we do clearly state on our website that the free delivery provided on our laser measures can be any time between 9am-5pm. That said, the behaviour of the driver obviously leaves much to be desired. I will speak to Interlink personally and raise your points with them. Many thanks for taking the time to leave a review and for helping us to improve our service to our other customers.

Hi Owen, many thanks for leaving a review. Your order was dispatched on the 21st (you ordered around 9pm when our warehouse is closed so your order would've been picked the next morning)... Because Royal Mail don't deliver 2nd Class business parcels over the weekend you should've received it between 24th and the 26th. Please do let us know if you didn't receive your order between those dates and we'll absolutely take it up with Royal Mail!
