“Stone was OK but covered in mud,there was a lot of tiny pieces of shale mixed in and a lot of this at the bottom of the bags which got onto the garden when trying to empty the bags .it won't wash away and weeds get a hold in this mix of mud and tiny bits of slate,it also doesn't look good as it gets on the top of your stones because it's at the bottom of the bag”

All of the products we sell are naturally quarried so an element of dust will be on the products which can vary from bag to bag, from the wet weather we've recently had this dust can get wet and then dry as mud-like, we don't have any washing facilities on-site, unfortunately so I am sorry for any inconvenience this has caused you. “Recently purchased some of The Stone & Gardens Rustic slate rockery, the quality & size of the stones was perfect with various interesting pieces. They do require a quick rinse but once washed all the colours come out beautifully. Overall good experience, great communication before purchase with any questions I had, super fast dispatch and delivery. Will use again”

“100% recommend this company. I ordered some stone to be delivered. Can't fault anything. Communication was great, kept well informed about my order and when it was going to be delivered. Love the stone ( Scottish pebbles) even the delivery driver was lovely and helpful 😁 thankyou.”

“Good website. Fast efficient service, but the 2x850 keg bags of Alpine Black gravel were so badly covered in dust, you’d have thought it was light brown. They advise it may still be dusty, but with a thick covering of it, would mean you don’t get as much gravel as you would with a normal slightly dusty covering, as it must add to the weight. We’re very pleased with the end result, but we used an awful lot of water hosing it off.”
