“We have purchased a single bed base and mattress prior and they were great so when needed new double mattress didn’t think of going anywhere else . Weren’t let down delivery great and are lovely made and excellent nights sleep . Thanks”

“My lovely bed was delivered on Thursday 11th September . I am delighted with the bed and the delivery guys were great-very efficient and pleasant-and took great care in such little space for such big packages. The bed itself was so well packaged with felt etc and is perfect and so sturdy. I bought the Chatsworth metal bedstead which was in stock and was delivered on only 6days-which is really great service, given we live half way up the east coast of Scotland! It was a great price too, for such a great quality bed! I had reason to be in touch with the company prior to delivery as we had holidays coming up-and they were so helpful. My husband and I built the bed in an hour and a half-but could do it faster now that we know what we are doing! Instructions are very clear. It was so simple as many of the bolts are already in place for guidance. Many thanks for a lovely bed and best of service both from the Original Bed Company and BJS, the delivery team.”

“Very happy with the bed. It took a long time to put together but the result is very stable. Like the way the mattress is held in place by the base, unlike many cheaper versions where it rests on top. The ivory colour is elegant. Only problem is that there was only one cap for the lase legs. Can you send me another, please. I received a replace cap as requested within 24 hours. Thankyou”

“Makes it very easy that they only offer one mattress that they believe in. The mattress is really comfortable and is a nice level of firm-ness. We couldn't find many reviews of the Juno mattress but would definitely recommend it, especially compared to many of the modern in-box mattresses only made of foam. The bed frame is really easy to put together, feels of great quality that will last. Delivery was also brilliant and so helpful. Highly recommend using this great company for your next bed.”

“We purchased the Juno silk mattress. It is early days to comment on how durable it is however it seems very well made. It is harder than we expected but over the 2 months we've been sleeping on it we've found it to be good, we don't feel each other moving about which I love. The delivery went well, we had it delivered to our room of choice and the couriers arrived on time and kept us informed prior to delivery. All in all happy customers.”

“Once I had decided that my 25-year-old bed and mattress were life-expired, I spent a very long time trying to find the perfect replacement. I had a list of things that I DIDNT' want (upholstered base, divan, etc.) but I had more or less decided on an iron bed. I was on the brink of spending almost TWICE as much when I stumbled on The Original Bed Company ... and my... am I glad!! I did a double-take when I saw all those lovely iron beds with low foot ends. That was exactly what I had been searching for. (It's quite a small room and a high foot end would have been overpowering.) I spent ages reading all the reviews and I have to say that every single positive comment rings true. I now have the perfect bed, a super comfortable mattress and a better and nicer bed than I so nearly bought. The whole thing is very well made. I was a little nervous about the matterss - a lot of money to pay without trying it - but have faith! It's going to last years. It's true what everyone says ... this bed does NOT creak!!! it's just fabulous. I deliberated for a while over which design and which colour to go for, and poor Jamyang (who has the patience of a saint) put together several suggestions for me. In the end I went for an ex-stock bed and I am soooo delighted with it. I would recomment this company to anyone and everyone. Your bed will not creak!!”

“Great service and quick delivery, would buy again but this bed seems like it’s gonna last a long time! Absolutely in love and affordable with the multiple instalments. I would say don’t give up on metal beds because they last long and look so gorgeous ! Even in my little room it adds character! Only thing I would add is be careful lifting it up and have a second person to help you build it! They put loads of padding and make sure that it’s tucked well in the box! Only negative was that one of the headboards had a really rusted stopper in it. So had to pry it out breaking my nail.”
