“Always enjoy spending time at the garden centre, with all that it has to offer. Came with a friend last time and looked forward to using our 'breakfast' vouchers. We spent too much time buying plants etc, before going to the restaurant, and although we had both separately checked the times for the 'breakfast' offer (and neither found a time limit) we were after the 12 noon deadline! We both live about 20 miles away so enjoy lunch there, but were told 'it says it on the menu' !! The soup was good though!!!”

“Love the new approach to the garden centre! Lots more room to manoeuvre Inthe car park. Staff were pleasant seemed happy within their work environment. Plants healthy and well looked after, although I did notice one or two plants sitting in a tray of water that had obviously been effected by the recent heat wave, but at least they were being rescued and given the correct care they need to recover! (Much better care than what some garden centres give that I have been to) The food is good quality and tasty too. They cater for those who have food intolerances/allergies. There is a wide variety of choice for everyone's needs and hobbies. Overall a great garden centre I feel happy going to☺”

“Excellent lunch. But after the disastrous smoothie last time, we won't try them again. Looking forward to having proper VAT reporting on the till slips. We need them. Would like to see more than a single variety of passiflora. Very happy with the pots we got...and the aloes and tillandsia.”

“Thank you for the lovely roses . The crimson velvet textures amazing. I’m very concerned about one of the plants as it’s doing quite poorly right from the beginning. What do you think can be done about it. Hope to hear from you”

“As usual everything was well presented. Two members of staff were especially helpful - one in the gift area ( who offered a basket for purchases and then took it to the till point) and the other on checkout ( operator 30) who was most pleasant and helpful. Normally the checkout experience is not the best with disinterested staff who just process goods without thought to wrapping or indeed wiping down the till area post the previous customer. Sorry to be a bit negative but checkout is an important part of the experience as its the last impression you get....”

“Beautiful garden centre, well laid out with interesting features. Restaurant staff very helpful. My meal of Broccoli quiche was disappointing but my husband enjoyed his Ham, Egg, chips and peas.”

“I find the plants to be very expensive and the layout of the entire garden centre to be very confusing. However, the staff are extremely helpful, knowledgeable and lovely, and the chocolate sponge cake in the restaurant is gorgeous!”

“An excellent garden centre but today I was after vegetable plants and was disappointed by the poor selection. There were only brassicas and a very few, poor quality individual plants of other type. The tea room provided me a delicious scrambled egg and bacon bagel.”
