“If you can afford it, do it (hate saying that but it seems to be the way of things now sadly). Nicole in Birmingham was lovely. I had one mole that she thought needed further investigation and she took photos to send to a dermatologist for a report which was an extra £30. Report arrived within 48 hours and all ok. My partner (who I only persuaded to go with me because of the generous offer for two) needed further action. He had a phone call within 48hours and all was well explained to him. So pleased that we did it.”

“Efficient and friendly service. If you are worried about possible skin cancer I would recommend this service rather than than having to wait for a GP appointment and then wait for a referral.”

“I was very impressed by the thoroughness of the full-body skin check and the single mole reports that resulted from it. The reports were provided to me within 24 hours of the skin check. The nurse who performed the skin check contacted me before forwarding the report to discuss the findings and the options to address the issues that needed further action. I found the reports easy to read and understand.”

“I visited for the mole mapping service having noticed that one mole had changed. A screening nurse checked every single mole on my body and then sent images of the mole that had changed to a dermatologist where I had a negative result within 24 hours.”

“The appointment for the check was fine and the consultant was lovely. However, the clinic I went to don't offer the treatments and asked me to find a local clinic or go to their London clinic. I wasn't able to get through to the main Mole Clinic on the phone - hanging on for ages. So I emailed them and just couldn't get a straight answer. They firstly told me to ask Cambridge, and when I told them Cambridge had referred me to them, they wrote back telling me the appointments were in London. I wrote back to say I knew they were in London and I needed a quote - but by that time I had found somewhere else to do it. Telephone response is awful!”

“I was booked in for mole mapping and full body check but the software for the mapping was out of action, so I just had the full body check and they prefunded me the difference. It was worth attending as the body check is the expertise and the nurse was thorough and informative, respectful, and reassured me about my skin. Most what I thought were moles were actually not so I had been worrying about the wrong ones. She found one I had never even noticed before which is one of three she ended up referring to the consultant. I felt the toilets in Oxford Street would benefit from a refurb and there were lots of cables in the exam room under the desk which looked untidy. I was however entirely happy with the full body map and the discussion with the nurse. I was seen on time. I felt comfortable throughout the examination.”
