Hi Lorraine, Thanks for the 3 star review it's greatly appreciated although we are mortified that it was not 5 star (Sad face Emoji). Normally I would ask what could we have done better to gain the elusive 4th & 5th stars! But on this occasion we do offer different options when it comes down to shipping, there is a paid over night services for those urgent items? but sadly for postal there is only Royal Mail in the UK. This review is only an "acceptable "because of the assistance of one of your employees. I ordered 2 lamps on Thurs 14th December. They arrived about a week later and the ceramic IR bulb for reptiles exploded as soon as I turned it on. I phoned your customer services and the gentleman who answered said at first that he couldn't replace it until after Christmas but then realised he passed my village on his way to work so would bring one the next day but would test it first. This he did for which I am very grateful. Thank you. I think it would be a good idea to check all lamps before delivery to stop this kind of occurrence. To give you an example of how efficiently a business can be run I can cite this : I ordered a CD player from Richer Sounds on Friday 8th Dec. at 5 pm and it arrived in perfect condition on Monday Dec. 11th at 11.40 A.M.

Normally I would ask what could we have done better to gain the elusive 4th & 5th stars! but on this occasion I only advise that we do not manufacture these lamps and just like Richer Sounds we just handle them, sadly having the machinery and man power to test thousands of individual lamps on a daily basis would soon put anyone of of business! we do apologies for the complete failure of the item received, but I do feel that we went above and beyond replacing them personally? Hopefully we'll get the chance to obtain a 5* rating at a later date. How about the fabulous 12% discount code for life just for leaving this review! My order was delivered efficiently and very well packed. However, I was charged twice for this order, which I only noticed as it came up on my credit card bill. Had I not noticed you would have been paid twice. Thankfully, my email pointing this out was quickly responded to, and I await credit on my account. You say this sometimes happens with a double click. However, that is not acceptable and should be corrected in your system

Half my order was wrong and despite me getting in touch to ask for a change nonone has got in touch with me in 4 days. I have written twice. Speed of service was great but still waiting to see if I can have the rest of my order corrected

Two orders were placed over two days, as on the first occasion, I was very pleased with the quality of the LED bulbs and the very prompt delivery and then decided to switch over entirely to LED bulbs with a substantial order. Due to a stock picking error, E14 bulbs were then sent instead of E27. When the replacement E27 bulbs were dispatched, I spotted that part of my new address was corrupted with part of my old one, making an undeliverable address. I contacted the office by phone at 2.04pm on Monday 17th and the parcel should have been able to have been stopped before being collected by your courier at 4pm. To date the replacement bulbs have not been received. Normally your service is impeccable and delivery is next day, but not on this occasion, hence the low star rating.
