Very happy with the product in general. It would be improved if the metal plate (treadle) was not smooth as the chickens slip off a little. I put duct tape in to help stop that. Also came with no instructions and I had to look up YouTube for assembly help

The service was very good thanks but I recommend the statement referring to, “Returns cost us a lot of time and money” should be removed as I had mistakenly ordered an incubator which was out of stock and customer service is not improved by this statement. Customers can sometimes be awkward (e.g. me!), but they are customers and customers pay our bills. If people are not happy with my products (like with Amazon), I am always happy to return their money once I have received the returned undamaged goods

Whilst it's true that we encourage our customers to think carefully before purchase to avoid unnecessary returns, we certainly wouldn't want to discourage a customer from returning an item they're genuinely unhappy with. That said, having reviewed your order history we cannot see any returns have been requested. We also can't find any reference to the “Returns cost us a lot of time and money” statement that you've mentioned. Good products although I paid £6 for next day delivery and received the product 2 days after

Hi Kathleen, Thank you for your review! Sorry it took a little while to reply to this as we're still experiencing much higher-than-normal demand. I've double-checked your delivery details and can confirm that you received the next-working-day delivery as promised. Our cut-off time for next day delivery is 2pm. You placed your order on Wednesday 12th August 2020 at 8:40pm. We therefore packed and dispatched your order the following day (Thursday 13th). It was sent with DPD on their next-day service and arrived with you around 1pm on Friday 14th. Apologies for any misunderstanding, we try to make the 2pm cut-off as clear as possible by including it on the product page, deliveries pages and basket page too. If you order from us in the future, you're more than welcome to contact us first and we'll always do our best to deliver at your preferred time. Kind regards, Mike

Very easy to order and quick to deliver. The only downside with the product and this can be fixed is the bolt keeps moving off the screw as the ramp is used by the chickens. No complaints otherwise and I would purchase again from the company if I needed too.

it is very good pruduct but it should be bottle in the product to put pipe inside. But i bought seperate. Rest is great.

It's brilliant to receive your review. Thank you so much for supporting our family business. Incubators with automatic humidity control don't come with bottles for water because different customers want/need different sized water containers. Some people use bottles, whereas others may use cups, etc. Hopefully this clears things up but if you need any more help just get in touch. Kind regards, Mike.

I have ordered several items & all have been received on time and with a little unexpected treat which was nice. All packaged well with no problems. The only slight grievance was I needed to talk to someone on a number of occasions but due to Covid19 there was no telephone service. This was understandable to a certain degree but by July when everyone was by then, at the very least, offering support from home, I was a little disappointed to still not be able to speak to someone.

Hi Victoria, thanks so much for your feedback. I'm really pleased you got all your items on time. Please accept our apologies for the lack of telephone service at this time. Although it feels like things are back to normal, for us they're still far from it. This year demand for incubators has gone exceptionally high. Our average weekly sales this year is busier than our busiest ever week's sales in our 15 year history. It's truly unprecedented. This coupled with the small team and small office means that we're simply unable to deal with phone-calls efficiently, since we're alternating working patterns and working from home where possible. Instead, we've increased our email service and are replying to customers quicker than ever before. By doing so, we're able to serve a multiple customers at the same time, something we'd have never been able to do with a telephone service. We tried it for a while, but customers were simply hitting a telephone queue that could sometimes last hours. So although it feels like we've reduced our service, the changes we've made in the short term have allowed us to serve far more customers and help many more people than we would have been capable of doing by phone. It's also allowed our warehouse team to be fully focused on dispatching goods which is why our next-day delivery service has never been affected throughout the entire pandemic. Even our 5-working-day services are arriving within one or two days of order. I promise we're taking all feedback on board and very seriously and we'll be reviewing our contact options as the year progresses and hopefully the rules relax even more. The ordering was fine & the products arrived quickly. My biggest complaint was that it has been impossible to speak to someone very knowledgeable during the lockdown, told only emails were possible. Problems with hatching didn't go away during lockdown & no-one was prepared to help over the phone. Much easier to discuss things rather than write it all down.

Hi, thank you so much for your review. I'm pleased we could deliver your items quickly and that ordering online was smooth. And thank you very much for your feedback regarding the contact situation. I'd like to explain our current situation and what we're doing to improve. Since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, we've introduced a strict working-from-home policy to protect our small team. As there are only three of us, in close working proximity, we couldn't risk any illness within our team. So, we made the difficult decision to disable the phone lines to allow our colleagues to work from home via email, without using their personal phones for business use. Additionally, due to the lockdown, we've seen a huge increase in the volume of sales, and customer contact, so it would be impossible to service all our customers via the phone. Instead, we set up a new Help & Contact page on our website, packed with helpful info. We also adapted our automatic emails to be more informative too. We made it possible for staff to work longer hours and answer more emails in a day than ever before, so our level of service has increased. Where necessary, we'll slowly reintroduce making outgoing calls where the problem is easier solved on the phone. But we'll continue to develop our help and advice pages online so that customers can get much more information and help - both before, and after, their purchase. I'll discuss your particular case with the team to understand how we could have done better to help you quicker, whilst maintaining the new way of working. The most important thing for us is that we consistently improve, making things better every day. So feedback like yours is absolutely vital and I thank you very much for it. I needed to buy a new tortise incubator as I have 30 eggs and was unsure which to buy as my old one has never been successful . I emailed and requested a reply to discuss the best one to buy. Unfortunately I never received the call or acknowledgment which was rather disappointing. However the incubator I chose arrived safe and sound but I'm still unsure if it was the right choice .

Lovely unit but description was a bit misleading as I thought it controlled humidity as well as temperature. Purchased as a queen bee incubator the shelves are not practical for queen cells. Needs a bit more research.

Arrived on time with instructions And some sweets in the parcel Mars bars of a snicker would have been better but hey that’s me Anyway the eggs are in and turning and I now trust it and that’s a good thing Might go for the 56

Generally excellent service. My gripe is about the postage to the Scottish Highlands, particularly for a small, light item like the evaporation pads I ordered this time. We are consistently being penalised in spite of the fact that we are mainland U.K. and Royal Mail charge the same to deliver here as to the rest of the U.K.
